《文赋》是中国文学理论史上第一篇系统论述文学创作问题的重要论著，自1948年陈世骧将《文赋》译成英文开始，英语世界不断有学者或诗人从事《文赋》的英译工作，并且对《文赋》展开了比较深入的研究。因而对英语世界的《文赋》翻译和研究展开系统而深入的再研究，不仅可以为中国文论典籍的外译（英译）提供可资借鉴的经验，同时可以促进国内《文赋》研究的深入。本文将英语世界从1948年到21世纪初之间近半个世纪以来的《文赋》翻译及研究情况作为考察对象，试图勾勒这一中国重要文论经典在英语世界被翻译和研究的历史轨迹，考察《文赋》各个英译本的译者不同的翻译策略和翻译目的，以《文赋》的文题、篇章结构、相关术语、文化专有项等英译中出现的问题为主，对各译本进行比较论述，力图还原各译本呈现的整体风貌，并指出《文赋》在跨文化的翻译解读中出现的误译和误读，同时本文力图对英语世界的《文赋》研究进行再研究，力图真实地反映出英语世界《文赋》研究的整体情况，并指出英语世界《文赋》研究的特征及其不足。

Lu Chi’s Wen Fu (Literary writing：a fu by Lu Ji) is the first masterpiece on the literary composition in the history of literary theory，from 1948,chen shi xiang translated the text into english first，many scholars and poets in English-speaking world have went on translating WenFu, and researched WenFu from different aspects. So the systematic and thorough research on the translations and research of Wen Fu in English-speaking world，not only provide the valuable experience on Chinese literary Classics in Translation，but also promote the research of Wen Fu in Chinese.This article deals with the translations and studies of Lu Chi’s Wen Fu in English- speaking world from1948 to the early 21st century，aims at drawing the outline of the historical process that the Chinese literary thought canon was translated and studied in English-speaking world. This article compares the different translations of Wen Fu，about how these translation render the title、the terms and concepts、the Culture Specific Items of Wen Fu in English，discussing the different methods and different aims between the different translators，analyzing the misread and variations the inter-culture interpret；the article also provides a detailed statement about the achievements of studying the Wen Fu by the scholars and sinologists in English speaking world，discussing the features and shortcomings of the studies on Wen Fu in English-speaking world.
