Zhao Mengfu is the most important calligrapher in the history of Yuan Dynasty calligraphy. He was regarded as a leading figure in the calligraphy world by his peers and successors. Both his calligraphic practice and calligraphic thoughts can serve as a model for calligraphers. Zhao Mengfu's social mentality was closely related to his identity and the special characteristics of the Yuan Dynasty era. His wide-ranging social interactions throughout his life cannot be ignored. He had close relationships with court officials such as Ke Jiusi and Yu Ji during his time in Dadu, and had many social interactions and guidance with them. Through calligraphic interactions, Zhao Mengfu not only improved his own calligraphic practice, but also made his calligraphy style and thoughts more mature. He also had a profound influence on the literati and calligraphers he interacted with, which to some extent affected the development of Yuan Dynasty calligraphy style.
