自主学习与合作学习是我们今天倡导的新的学习方式中的重要一种。本研究通过在高中英语教学中引导学生采用自主学习与合作学习的方式进行学习,来验证这种方式是否能激发学生学习英语的兴趣及提高学生综合运用语言的能力,如果这种方式有效,就可以为广大从事高中英语教学的教师提供可借鉴的方法。本研究采用了文献研究、调查研究(问卷调查和访谈)和实验研究(测试)相结合的方法,历时一年,对在高中英语教学中引导学生进行自主学习与合作学习是否能提高学生运用语言的能力开展了教学实验研究,分析了实验结果,得出了对实际教学有一些参考价值的结论。首先采用问卷调查法,对黑龙江省哈尔滨市阿城区第二中学高一学年的两个文科平行班高一(1)班和高一(2)班的90名学生进行施测,了解学生英语学习的有关情况,然后对两个班的学生进行实验研究,并对学生成绩用SPSS 软件进行数据分析,最后筛选出典型个案进行访谈,了解学生运用自主学习与合作学习对提高学生运用语言能力所起的作用。本研究得出以下结论:1、在高中英语教学中引导学生进行自主学习与合作学习能提高学生运用语言的能力,培养学生自主学习的能力,改变教育现状,提高他们的整体素质。2、自主学习与合作学习培养了学生运用语言的能力,增强了学生学习英语的兴趣。实验班学生的英语成绩有了很大程度的提高,特别是中等生和学困生成绩提高比较明显,说明教师引导学生采用这种学习方式的探索取得了一些成效。3、实验中学生直接参与教学,增强了主体意识,学生学习英语的情感态度、观念、兴趣、参与意识及团队精神等非智力因素发生了一些积极的变化。4、通过引导学生进行自主学习与合作学习,培养了学生好的学习习惯以及他们的实践和创新能力,培养出能学、乐学的学习者,这种方式对于当前高中学生的学习更具针对性和实践指导性,有利于指导教学实践,改善高中生以死背单词和语法知识来学习英语的现状,促进高中学生学习和整体发展,对高中英语教学水平的提高也具有一定的实践意义。5、在实验中对个案研究做了初步尝试,积累了一定的经验,为一线教师提出了一些教育建议,帮助他们更新教育理念,使他们认识到学生学习方式的转变关系到教育教学质量的提高,为今后更好地开展教学实践研究奠定了基础。

Self-learning and cooperative learning is one of the most important ways of learning that we advocate today. This research is used to test whether this approach can stimulate students to learn English and improve students’ comprehensive ability to use the language if students are guided to use self-learning and cooperative learning in Senior English teaching. If the approach is effective, it can provide referential methods for English teachers in Senior High School. This study, which lasts one year, is done by a combination of research methods, such as documental research, research (questionnaires and interviews), and experimental study (test). In this study many teaching experimental researches on whether we can improve students’ language proficiency by guiding students to conduct self-learning and cooperative learning are carried out. The experimental results are analyzed and some valuable experimental results that can be consulted in practical teaching are obtained initially. Firstly, by using a questionnaire survey method, two liberal arts classes Class 1, Grade 1 and Class 2, Grade 1 (90 students )from a city high school in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province are conducted in test facilities to learn about the situation of students learning English. Secondly, the two classes of students are studied and the achievement data are analyzed using SPSS software. Finally, the selected typical cases are interviewed to learn about the role that the students use self-learning and cooperative learning to improve their language skills.The results of the research show: 1. To guide students to carry out self-learning and cooperative learning in high school English teaching can enhance students’ language proficiency, develop students’ self-learning ability, change the current situation of education and improve their overall quality. 2. Self-learning and cooperative learning improves students’ ability of using the language and motivates students’ interest in learning English. Students’ English marks in the experimental class are also improved, especially the students who are not good or poor at English have made great progress. This shows that the way of learning is kind of effective. 3. In the experiment, students participate in teaching directly and their consciousness of being the main part in teaching is enhanced. Some positive changes occur in students’ non-intellectual factors such as students’ sense of emotional attitude towards learning English, beliefs, interest, sense of participation, teamwork and so on. 4. Students’ good learning habits, practice and innovation are developed, and learners who are able to learn and fun to learn are cultivated through self-learning and cooperative learning. There is more focused and practical guidance for the current high school students. This approach will help to guide teaching practice to improve the high school students to memorize words and grammar in learning English, promoting high school students’ learning and overall development. It also has some practical significance on raising the level of English language teaching in high school.5. In the experiment, case study is initially tried and much experience has been collected. Also, some suggestions are provided for teachers and they can help teachers update their educational concepts and have them realize that the transformation of students’ way of learning matters much in the educational quality. All these provide a good foundation for future research of teaching practice.
