20世纪80年代以来的中国当代军旅小说数量丰富、题材广泛，作家们在塑造人物时更加注重对“人性”的深入开掘。由于军队及军人是国家意志的执行者，他们的思想与行为无不体现着国家的政治意图，因此他们所担负的责任和使命必然会与个人欲求发生各种各样的矛盾，即“神性”与“人性”的冲突，本文用四章对军人“神性”与“人性”的冲突进行了分析。 第一章对“神性”的概念进行简要解说，并明确了本文讨论的军人“神性”的涉及范畴。此后，分两个层面具体分析军旅小说中军人形象的“神性”表现。第一个精神层面又细化为两部分内容，一部分为超常的英雄精神和军人气质；另一部分是危难时刻军人所表现出的英雄气概。第二个政治层面主要分析了军人身上绝对服从、绝对忠诚的思想所显示出的“神性”。最后一节小结了上世纪80年代以来30年间军旅小说中“神性”书写的变化情况。 第二章对“人性”思想进行简要梳理，并按“人性”变化发展的一般趋势将军旅小说中军人的“人性”分为人的本性、人性的异化、人性的复归三个部分进行具体分析。最后一节考察了30年来军旅小说中“人性”书写的变化，并相应地探讨了这些变化的原因。 第三章重点论述军人们“神性”与“人性”的冲突及结果。首先是“神性”压倒“人性”，这是绝大多数军旅小说的灵魂之处，本文从精神气质和职责使命两方面进行探讨。第二是“人性”解构“神性”，分和平军营生活对“神性”的解构、异化的“人性”对“神性”的解构两部分予以论述。最后一部分是“神性”与“人性”的对立统一，主要从战争的角度分析军人内心世界中“人性”与“神性”的相互变化。 第四章从政治环境、社会环境、文学环境以及作家成长环境四个方面讨论军旅小说中“神性”与“人性”冲突的原因，力图说明政治环境的宽松、社会世俗化浪潮的冲击、文学思潮的涌动以及作家个人的成长背景等多重因素是导致新时期军旅小说中“神性”与“人性”冲突的原因。 军人是一个特殊的职业，职业特性决定他们身上必须带有“神性”，因此本文最后以“神性”与“人性”冲突的必然性及其意义作为结语，侧重点在于强调军人“神性”的重要社会价值。

There has been a quantity of contemporary military novels wide-ranging in subjects in Chinese since 1980s in the 20th century, which were featured with deeply exploitation of the humanity in characters by the writers than before. As the military forces and the soldiers are the executors of a state’s willpower, so their thoughts and actions embody in the state’s political purposes. In the process of carrying out their responsibilities and missions for the nation’s interests, they will inevitably confront the contradiction of divinity relating to dedication to the country and the humanity coming from human nature. This essay analyzed the conflict between divinity and humanity in the characters of soldiers on four chapters.The first chapter gave a concise concept of divinity, and clearly defined the domain of soldiers’ divinity. Thereafter, the performance of divinity of soldiers in military fiction was specifically analyzed in two levels. The first level was consisting of two parts, one concerning the extraordinary heroism and military temperament; the other one involving the critical moments the soldiers were demonstrating heroism. The second mainly analyzed the political level which illustrated soldiers’ absolute obedience and loyalty shown by the idea of divinity. The last section showed a summary of the evolution in portraying of divinity in military novels during thirty years since 1980s.Chapter two had the concept of humanity briefly analyzed, and classified as human nature, human alienation and human reversion which were analyzed specifically. The last section examined the transformation of humanity in military novels in the past thirty years, therefore discussed the reasons for these changes.The third chapter focused on the conflict between divinity and humanity in soldiers and its consequences. First, the divine nature overwhelmed the human nature, which was the soul of the vast majority of military novels. This essay would explore this question from two angles referred to as the view of spiritual disposition and the core of duty and mission. Second, it was about the deconstruction of divinity by human nature, which was related in two parts—the deconstruction of divinity due to peaceful military camp life and the alienation of humanity deconstructing divinity. The last part of this chapter was discussing the unity of opposites in relation to humanity and divinity, which was mainly illustrated from the viewpoint of war to explain the interrelation between humanity and divinity from soldiers’ inner life. The fourth chapter discussed the conflict between divinity and humanity in the military novels from four respects which were known as political environment, social environment, cultural environment and writers’ factors. Furthermore, it attributed the conflict to the liberal political environment, the impact of the wave of secularization of society, the development of literary thought and the personal growth of the writers.The military is a special profession which characteristics determine them to be with the divine nature, therefore at the end of this article, it was concluded that the conflict between humanity and divinity in soldiers were unavoidable, thus the focus was to emphasize the significance of the military’s divine nature.
