20世纪80年代以来,中国城市化的脚步在加快,西安这座城市经历着中国典型的传统农业文明下的乡土味厚重的城市向现代化都市的举重维艰的现代转型,感受着与其他城市同样的阵痛,譬如价值失落的迷惘、精神的无所依托等。为此,我力图通过对20世纪80年代以来文学中的“西安想象”的研究,来考察西安城市文学的发展及其成因以及书写经验。而在这里运用的则是张鸿生推崇的“文学中的城市”这一概念,从而明确了本文将着重从文学文本出发解读城市,但是不脱离文学对现实城市的再现及想象。因此本论文力求勾勒出西安想象方式的衍变及其精神源流,从而把握住不同作家的西安想象及构形的不同,最终呈现西安的城市形象及精神文化品格。论文将从以下四个部分着手分析论述:第一部分,“文学西安的历史传统”,分别从西安的历史文化、西安想象的文学传统这两个维度出发,对西安想象的历史进行梳理,为后文的分析作铺垫。第二部分,“新时期以来的西安想象”, 通过对胡宽、伊沙、于坚、贾平凹、秦巴子、周瑄璞、李傻傻等人书写西安的文本解读,来感受作家不同的构形方式,进而从作家的身份、知识背景、情感倾向、城市观念以及时代发展的背景等方面论述作家构形方式上差异。另外则关注身居西安的作家们转身乡村的原因,及对乡村与城市的不同姿态。第三部分,“全球化语境下的西安想象”,通过西安与北京、西安与南京的互看,来论述西安想象的独特性及其价值,勾勒西安的精神气质。第四部分,“结语”既是对前面观点的总结,也是对当代文学中的西安形象进行简要的概括。而由于西安的作家太多,为了论述的方便,笔者将研究对象主要限定在胡宽、贾平凹、李傻傻、伊沙、周瑄璞等涉及到西安并形象较为突出的作家身上。而解读的文本则以小说、诗歌为主,兼及散文。最终通过文本的细致解读,及文化批评方法的辅助,完成对作家笔下人物的形象、精神气质与城市的风韵等方面的分析,描绘出西安的形象和特色,挖掘出西安的灵魂与气韵。

Since the 1980s, the pace of urbanization in China has accelerated. Xi'an has transformed from a typical traditional city of agricultural civilization to a modern city. During this process of transformation, it feels the same pains as the other cities do, such as the lost of the traditional value and the spirit. For this reason, the author tries to study on the "imagination about Xi'an" in the literature since the 1980s, in order to analyze the causes, the development and the writing experience of the literature about Xi'an. This thesis is based on the concept of "literature in the city", which is named by Zhang Hongsheng. This concept makes it clear that the thesis will focus on the literary interpretation of cities, and also the representation and imagination of cities. Therefore, this thesis intends to draw the outline of different ways of Xi'an imagination and the spiritual origins so that we can figure out the various imaginations different writers have towards Xi'an, and finally, the spiritual and cultural characteristics of the city Xi'an will be presented. The thesis contains the following four parts: Part I is "The traditional literary history of Xi'an ". In this part, the author will comb the development of Xi’an imagination from the perspectives of the history and culture of the Xi’an city, and also the tradition of Xi’an imagination. Part II, "The literary imagination of Xi'an in the new era", introduces different ways of portraying Xi’an through the analysis of the texts about Xi'an by Hu Kuan,Yi Sha, Yu Jian, Jia Pingwa, Qin Bazi , Zhou Xuanpu, Li Shasha and other writers. This part mainly talks about the different ways of portraying Xi’an from the writers’ identities, education backgrounds, emotional tendencies, the concepts about urban, the background of the times and so on. Besides, the part will also refers to the reasons why the writers turn to the village from the Xi’an city, and their different attitudes towards rural areas and urban areas. Part III is "The imagination of Xi'an in the globalization context", and the uniqueness and value of imagination of Xi’an will be analyzed in this part through the comparison of the different literary imaginations of Xi’an, Beijing, Xi’an and Nanjing. The spirit of Xi’an will be portrayed. Part IV is "Conclusion", and it is not only the summary of the views above, but the summary of the image of Xi'an in the contemporary literature. In this thesis, the author will choose the discourses written by some typical writers such as Hu Kuan, Yi Sha, Yu Jian, Jia Pingwa, Qin Bazi, Zhou Xuanpu, Li Shasha and so on to analyze the imagination of Xi’an. The discourses which are chosen are novels, poetry and prose. The thesis will analyze the images of the characters and the spirit of the city in the discourses, depict the unique features of Xi’an and explore the disposition of Xi’an.
