现代化进程中，村落传统的乡土性受到了冲击，既使得“熟人社会”越发松散，又使得城市生活方式的舒适为村民所津津乐道。川南G村茶馆作为村落一处新兴的休闲娱乐场所，功能集中于打牌消遣和聊天闲谈，其产生与发展的过程正是村庄在现代化进程中变迁的缩影。在盛行打牌的文化环境下，茶馆有着理性的生存运作逻辑和结构鲜明的顾客，对村落的生活方式起到了再建构的效用：逛茶馆成为一种消费模式走进了闲暇领域、村落消散的公共空间得以重建。此二者一定程度上又实现了村落社区的整合。

With the development of modernization , the traditional localism of village has been greatly impacted. Consequently, the acquaintances society is gradually loosed and the villagers are able to enjoy the comfort of urban way of living. As a new place of entertainment, the function of the teahouse of G village in the south of Sichuan focuses on chatting and playing cards. Its process of development is the epitome of the village’s changes in modernization. Under a cultural environment in which people has a strong interest in playing cards, the teahouse has its own reasonable subsistence logic and distinct construction of customer groups, which plays an important role on reconstructing the living style of the village. As a way of consumption, strolling the teahouse turns out to be a way of enjoying leisure. Also, the disappeared public space is reconstructed. To some extent, such influences have accomplished integration of the village community.
