The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of parental phubbing on problematic short-form video use among adolescents and the moderating effects of peer phubbing and self-esteem, based on theoretical and empirical research. This article conducted a questionnaire survey among 430 adolescents aged 11-16. SPSS was used for data analysis. The findings indicate: (1) a positive association between parental phubbing and problematic short-form video use among adolescents. (2) Peer phubbing and self-esteem could positively moderate the impact of parental phubbing on problematic short-form video use in teenagers.
