MCN,即 Multi-Channel Network,诞生于美国,在国内发展壮大,并形成了以市场和商业运营为导向的生态体系。数字化浪潮来袭,技术改变了视频的发行方式,从过去昂贵且复杂的设备到现在拥有一部手机就可以成为博主。国内的短视频行业从 2015 年兴起后,经历了爆发增长,到现在的稳中求进;内容生产从草根的 UGC 模式到专业团队生产内容的 PGC 模式,直到 2016 年的多频道网络的 MCN 模式,从内容的制作分发到营销变现,都逐渐规模化、专业化。虚拟的网络世界逐渐占据我们的生活,短视频以短时间内的大体量内容和碎片化的便捷获取性被用户所青睐,成为了目前被广泛使用的数字媒介。本研究首先对国内的短视频行业和短视频 MCN 的发展进行整理,总结出国内目前短视频 MCN 的运作模式,其中包括短视频的内容生产模式、短视频 MCN 的运营模式及变现模式。短视频 MCN 在发展的过程中也受到外部环境和机构内部的双重压力。本文对短视频 MCN 在整个短视频生态链中的关键角色进行思考,根据目前所面临的困境提出应对策略,并对短视频 MCN 的运作模式进行创新性的设想。在短视频市场中,观众通过屏幕看到的是短视频 MCN 对于内容创作者的包装,内容创作者、观众两个短视频市场中互动的重要组成部分,短视频 MCN 对这二者同样有着辩证的作用,一方面他们受到短视频 MCN 的积极推动,但同时也给带来了过度市场化、过度娱乐化等发展问题。这种短视频 MCN 催生的市场化的短视频生态模式同时也给数字产业文化的发展带来了进一步辩证的思考。可持续发展的商业模式随着数字技术的发展创新,会使得短视频 MCN 行业的市场营销越发正规化,形成在平台和分发渠道多样化形势下的媒体融合新生态。短视频 MCN 是短视频市场的催化剂和运营枢纽,对于国内短视频 MCN 的整体产业理论研究和人文辩证思考有着必要性和现实意义。

MCN, the Multi-Channel Network, was born in the United States, but it has grown in China and formed a unique ecosystem. Short video MCN has played a significant role in the development of the entire short video market. After the wave of digitization struck, Technology has changed how video is distributed, from expensive and complicated devices in the past to now having a mobile phone to become a blogger, publishing and filming content.The Chinese short video industry has experienced explosive growth since its rise in 2015, and now it is developing with steady progress. The content production model has also changed from grassroots UGC to the professional production of PGC until 2016 the MCN model is produced in China. From the production and distribution of content to marketing, it has gradually become large-scale and professional. The virtual online world is gradually occupying our lives. Short videos are favored by users with large amounts of content and fragmented convenience in a short period of time, and have become widely used digital media. This research first sorts out the domestic short video industry and the development of short video MCN, and summarizes the current domestic short video MCN operation mode, including short video content production mode, short video MCN operation mode and monetization mode. The short video MCN is also under double pressure from the external environment and the organization during the development process. This article considers the key role of short video MCN in the entire short video ecological chain, proposes countermeasures based on the current dilemma, and innovates on the operation mode of short video MCN. In this dramatic short video market, the audience sees the dramatic performance of the content creator through the screen. The content creator and the audience are two important components of the interaction in the short video market. They also have a dialectical positioning. It was positively influenced by the short video MCN, but it also brought excessive marketization and entertainment. The market-oriented short video ecological model spawned by this short video MCN also brings further dialectical thinking to the development of digital industry culture. With the development and innovation of digital technology, the sustainable development of the performing business model will make the marketing of the short video MCN industry more regular and form a new ecosystem of media integration under the diversified situation of platforms and distribution channels.
