沈约《宋书》是现存记载刘宋历史最早、最完整的史籍，自永明六年撰成以来，因存在“编订草率、繁简失当”等问题，历代学者对沈约《宋书》的史学成就评价不高。随着史学理论的成熟以及史学研究角度的扩展，我们从编纂体例、史料保存、思想主张及历史文学等多个方面发掘出沈约《宋书》诸多特色成就，肯定其史学价值和学术地位。《宋书》包罗宏富，卷帙浩繁，正因其特色鲜明，成果丰厚，遂成一家之言。

除绪论、结语之外，全文共设正文四章：

第一章为沈约《宋书》时代特色研究。魏晋南北朝是社会急剧变化的过渡时期，史家沈约在编撰《宋书》过程中与社会时代密切互动，本章主要从沈约生平、《宋书》修撰的历程以及《宋书》体例创新等三个方面展开，其中在《宋书》体例创新方面重点阐释全书断限与“八志”断限，“家传”、《孝义传》和《索虏传》的开创等内容，探析沈约《宋书》编撰所体现时代特色。

第二章为《宋书》的史料价值研究。与其他正史所具有的史料价值相比，《宋书》最具有特色和价值的史料是“八志”与载文。“八志”所涉领域全面，内容贯通博洽，价值极高；载文种类庞杂容量丰富，大量的诏令、奏疏、书札均被载录，尤其是所收录的名家诗赋文章等著作，在刘宋文学的搜求和保存方面贡献很大。本章就以上两部分的史料价值分析评价。

第三章为沈约思想主张研究。史家在篇末发表议论是我国古代史书修撰的重要传统，史论往往能够直接、真实地反映史家的思想主张,本章从《宋书》史论即“史臣曰”和传“序”部分入手，剖析沈约的思想，发掘他的贯通变易的历史观、倡导善政的民本思想、羁縻止战的民族思想的成因及内涵，用以论证沈约在思想主张上达到的卓越高度。

第四章为沈约《宋书》历史文学研究。真实的历史记载所具有的艺术性的文字表述是历史文学研究的重要内容，沈约文才出众，加之重文辞的著史传统，所以《宋书》的文字语言得到了高水准的文学加工，兼具客观性与可读性，其中在人物刻画、叙事风格以及语言特色等方面都有极高的史学造诣，本章围绕这三点总结沈约《宋书》载人、载事、载言的特色与成就。

Shen Yue's "Song Shu" is the earliest and most complete historical book that records the history of Liu Song in existence. With the maturity of historical theory and the expansion of historical research, we have discovered many special achievements of Shen Yue's Song Shu from many aspects such as compilation style, preservation of historical materials, historical thought and historical literature, which is beneficial to the study of historical history, Because of its distinctive characteristics and rich achievements.

The first chapter is a study of the characteristics of the era of Shen Yue's "Song Shu". The Wei, Jin and Northern and Southern Dynasties were a transitional period of rapid changes in society. The historian Shen Yue interacted closely with the social era in the process of compiling the Book of Song. The style innovation of the Book is carried out in three aspects. Among them, in terms of the innovation of the style of the Song Book, we will focus on explaining the breaking limit of the whole book and the breaking limit of the "Eight Records", the creation of "Family Biography", the Biography of Filial Piety and the Biography of Suo, and explore the characteristics of the times Compared with the historical value of other historical materials.

The most distinctive and valuable historical materials in the Book of Song are "Eight Records" and carrying text. The field covered by "Eight Records" is comprehensive, the content is comprehensive, and the content is extremely high value; the types of articles are rich and miscellaneous, and a large number of edicts, notes and books have been recorded, especially the famous poems and articles and other works, which have made great contributions to the search and preservation of Liu and Song literature. This chapter analyzes and evaluates the value of historical materials in the above two parts.

The third chapter is the study of Shen Yue's historical thought. It is an important tradition for historians to discuss ancient history books in China at the end of the article. Historiography can often directly and truly reflect the historical thoughts of historians. This chapter starts with the historical theory of the Book of Song, that is, the "historian said" and "preface", analyzes Shen Yue's historiographical thought, explores the cause and connotation of his concept of history, the people-oriented thought of advocating good governance, and the national thought of peaceful coexistence, so as to demonstrate the outstanding height of Shen Yue' The historical and literary research of "Song Shu".

The artistic textual expression of real historical records is an important content of historical and literature research. Shen Yue is outstanding, coupled with the historical tradition of heavy writing, so the writing language of "Song Shu" has obtained a high level of literary processing, both objectivity and readability, among which is in characterization. There are very high historical achievements in narrative style and language characteristics. This chapter summarizes the characteristics and achievements of Shen Yue's Song Book of Song.
