阅读是一种从印的或写的语言符号中取得意义的心理过程,是人类特有的认知世界的方式,是获得知识、发展思维、开阔视野、陶冶情操、获得审美体验的重要途径。21世纪是知识经济时代,知识快速更新,科学技术迅猛发展,信息大潮汹涌而至,通过阅读获得信息习得知识已是一条重要途径,阅读能力已经成为现代人必须具备的一种能力。课外阅读是课内阅读教学的延伸,加强课外阅读具有重要的意义。课外读物为学生提供了广阔的阅读空间,能够激发学生浓厚的阅读兴趣,养成学生良好的阅读习惯,全面提高学生语文素养。课外阅读还能够增强学生的审美能力和探究能力,为其终身学习和有个性的发展奠定基础。课外阅读充分体现了学生的主体地位,能有效发挥学生在阅读中的主动性、积极性、创造性,促使学生在充满个性和创造性的阅读中享受阅读乐趣,提升语文素养。本次研究主要通过调查问卷和访谈对大连市金州区高中生课外阅读现状进行调查,从学生的阅读兴趣、阅读动机、阅读方法、阅读环境等方面着手,调查分析影响本地区高中生课外阅读质量的原因。这些原因主要有应试教育体制下,从学校、教师到家长都十分重视学生的学习成绩,忽视课外阅读,放任学生盲目随意地阅读;语文教师对学生的课外阅读缺乏科学系统的指导,学生不能够制定正确的阅读策略,提高阅读效率;学生课业负担太重,课外阅读时间有限,学生不会科学利用时间;学校、家庭阅读环境欠佳等等。针对上述原因,笔者根据高中生心理发展特点及当代阅读理论,结合本地区实际情况提出相应的解决策略:改变教师传统的阅读观念,树立现代阅读观;提高教师教育理论和阅读理论修养,加强对学生课外阅读的指导;开展丰富的课外阅读活动,培养学生健康的阅读兴趣;创造良好的阅读环境,科学有效地利用时间,提高阅读效率。希望这些对策能够为改善本地区高中生课外阅读状况,为教师更好地指导学生课外阅读活动提供借鉴。

Reading is a kind of obtaining the mental process of the meaning from printing or writing of the language sign, is mankind ‘s way of the special cognition world , and is an important path of acquiring knowledge, developing thinking, enlarging one’s horizon, shaping the thoughts and feelings and getting the experience of appreciating beauty. The 21st century is an age of knowledge-based economy, in which knowledge is renewing fast, so are the development of science and technology and information. It is an essential way to acquire information by reading, which is becoming the ability that people must have nowadays. Reading after class is the extension of the teaching reading in class, andthere is an important sense in putting weight on reading after class. Extracurricular booksprovide students with extensive reading space, which can encourage students with interest to read more and develop a good habit of reading, and improve the students’ Chineselevel to the fullest. Reading after class can also strengthen the students’ ability to appreciate beauty and to investigate, laying the foundation for the developments of life- long study and one’s personality. Reading after class shows students being the main body in study , makes students active and creative in reading, enjoys oneself in reading and finally improve the Chinese level. The paper mainly interviewed the students on the issue about the state of extracurricular reading in high school by questionnaires and interview and analyzed the reasons that may have an influence on the quality of reading in the area by the view of students’ reading interest, reading motivation, reading method and reading circumstance. The main reasons are as follows: firstly, parents and teachers try to emphasize the test results, neglect the extracurricular reading and let students read at random in the situation of contemporary education aimed at test results. Secondly ,teachers did not give students enough guidance on extracurricular reading. And student s can't draw up right reading strategies or read efficiently ; Thirdly because students’ burden is too heavy and the time of reading after class is limited, student can't make use of time logically; and finally, the circumstance at home or in school is not perfect. Owing to the reasons above, the writerputs forward some strategies, according to the mental state development characteristics and contemporary reading theories in the senior high school, such as to change the traditional reading ideas of teacher, to set up the modern reading view, to hold various extracurricular reading activities, to improve teachers’ level in educating theories and reading theories and so on. In the end, the writer hopes these strategies can improve the state ofextracurricular reading and provides some useful methods for teachers to guide the extracurricular reading as a reference.
