The goal of this research is to look into the causes of high labor turnover and how it affects organizational performance at the Ministry of Health and Social Services.Previous research has shown that high staff turnover can impede an organization's ability to achieve its goals and objectives;however,there is a gap in the literature regarding how staff turnover contributes to poor organizational performance.This study aims to close this gap by investigating not only the causes and consequences of turnover,but also by identifying strategies and approaches that could assist the Ministry of Health and Social Services in reducing employee turnover.A quantitative research approach was used,with questionnaires used to collect data from a sample of 100 employees,yielding a 94%response rate.
According to the findings of this study,poor employee compensation and ineffective management are the primary causes of high staff turnover at the Ministry of Health and Social Services.According to the study,high staff turnover has a negative impact on work-life balance, resource utilization,and organizational productivity.As a result,the study suggests that management at the Ministry of Health and Social Services focus on improving work-pay balance and improving employee-management relationships in order to promote job satisfaction and,as a result,reduce staff turnover.
