本文通过对余华小说的符码 结构与话语的分析，论证了余华小说作为当下中国知识分子话语实践的典型性。并进一步指出余华小说及其所代表的中国知识分子话语实践的特点:中国知识分子话语处于国家话语与 民间话语的双重压迫之下,呈现出批判与妥协的双重特征。通过与民间话语的调情，它构筑了一种新的“人民神话”,并且最终走向了对国家话语的认同。因而以本能冲动为特征的中国知识分子话语如同余华的小说一样,是一种冲动与自阉 相互抑制的话语实践。

By analysing the code, structure and discourse, this thesis argues that Yu Hua’s fictions are the typical case of the discourse practice of Chinese intellectuals nowadays. And then it points out the characteris-tics of the discourse practice of Chinese intellectuals that can be repre-sented by Yu Hua's fictions:Under the double－oppress of National Discourse and Folk Discourse, the Intellectual Discourse presents its critical aspects and a tendency towards compromise at the same time. By means of flirting with the Folk Discourse, it has constucted a new “People Myth”,and finally comes to the identification of the National Discourse. Thus,the Intellectual Discourse with the characteristic of individual impulse of Id, like Yu Hua's fictions, turns out to be a kind of discourse practice with both impulse and self－castration.
