本论文将围绕苏联文艺学家巴赫金的“外位性”思想展开研究。巴赫金是二十世纪最著述丰硕且富有创意的人文学者之一。二十世纪后半叶，巴赫金的文论作品逐渐被重新发现并发掘，他的诸多思想如狂欢、对话、复调、交往等逐渐成为中外文艺学者关注的焦点和文学批评使用的利器。而巴赫金在提到“对话”和“复调”等术语时，多次提到了这些术语的出发点即“外位性”思想，也就是“主体”在不排斥自身的同时，对“他者”进行创造性理解的文学理念。“外位性”既是巴赫金受康德主义启发、在自己文论中一贯秉承的一种哲学理念，也是巴赫金在进行文学批评时常使用的一种审美方法。正是在“外位性”理论的基础之上，巴赫金逐渐确立了作品中作者与主人公、独白与复调、交往与对话等多组辨证概念。在有关巴赫金的众多学术著作、期刊论文和运用巴赫金理论进行的文学批评中，巴赫金的“外位性”经常被提及，但对“外位性”这个术语，目前尚缺乏从巴赫金文论文本细读出发的真正深入的研究，且在一些研究论文中，对“外位性”一词的理解尚有值得商榷之处。本文将先以分析巴赫金“外位性”目前国内外的研究状况为引子，首先分析“外位性”理论研究目前的成果和存在的问题。在已有的学术成果基础上，本文将回到巴赫金文论的文本本身，进行对六卷本的中文版《巴赫金全集》中一些集中论述“外位性”理论的文章如《论行为哲学》、《审美作品中的作者与主人公》等进行文本细读，将“外位性”还原于巴赫金的文本语境，阐明其内涵外延，并分析外位性思想在巴赫金文论中的演变过程，从道德哲学范畴、小说创作方法、文学审美定位、文化交流模式等几个不同层面，展现巴赫金对“外位性”思想不断丰富的过程。本文还将结合巴赫金所处的俄国社会文化环境、受到的哲学教育、“外位性”的词源意义和“外位性”在中西文学理论世界的译介，分析“外位性”的社会语境和意义。以此证明，在长达五十余年的文学理论研究中，作为元理论的“外位性”理念贯穿于巴赫金整个思想脉络，而且在不同语境逐渐得到外延的扩充。借对这个过程的剖析，本文希望解决目前巴赫金“外位性”研究存在的一些问题，而且希望以“外位性”理论的建构过程作为一个缩影，揭示巴赫金在建构文论体系时，不断自我完善的方式与方法。

This thesis will research on Russian literary theorist Bakhtin’s theory of exotopy. As one of the most creative humanists in the 20th century, Bakhtin has drawn attention of enormous scholars for his insight into “dialogism”,“carnivalesque”, “chronotope”, and “heteroglossia” and so on. When he proposed those theoretical terms Bakhtin always mentioned the resource of these terms, namely “exotopy”, which means to creatively understand the “others” without excluding the observing object itself. Exotopy is not only a philosophical thinking but also an aesthetical methodology. Based on exotopy, groups of dialectical concepts as author and hero in literary works,monologue and polyphony,participation and dialogism have been established by Bakhtin. This thesis will try to start from studying the historical and social environment in which Bakhtin grew up in Russian and his education background, giving the definition of the term of exotopy with the help of Russian philology. Then according to six volumes of Chinese version of“Bakhtin’s Collected Works” I will, by close reading from Bakhtin’s early work “Art and Responsibility”, analyze the process of the development of Bakhtin’s exotopy theory and demonstrate how Bakhtin enriched exotopy from the aspects of moral ethics, novel theory, literary aesthetics and cultural communication pattern and such.
