当前，现代信息传播技术发展越来越迅猛，国内新闻媒体成长和信息传播渠道日益多样化，党报作为我国主流新闻媒体，其担负的竞争压力日渐增大。如何加强党报的舆论导向功能使其具有较高的指导性、权威性，又拥有较大的吸引力、影响力，这个问题已经成为新形势下党报改革的首要重任。为了给群众提供及时、权威的信息报道以及充分发挥党报的政治优势，本文论述了党报坚持正确舆论导向的重要性，分析了党报政治舆论导向不明确的原因，提出了加强党报监督工作以及提高舆论引导能力的具体措施。笔者在文中提出了应该加强党报宣传工作的建议，笔者认为加强党报的宣传工作使党报的受众面积增加，可以提高群众凝聚力以及感召力，对加强党报建设有一定的借鉴作用。
