‘Dagoba Inscription of Zhenxiang Temple in Changqing,Qizhou’ is written in small regular script by Su Shi, finished in the second year of the Reign of Yuan You of the Song Dynasty. As it was newly unearthed, there isn’t in-depth research of this cultural relics. Compared with previous research, this article analyzes the background of this dagoba inscription more thoroughly. According to ‘The Su Shi Chronology’, the author of this article revealed the whole process of how Su Shi and his brother Su Zhe donated the dagoba inscription and explored the reason why these two relics were created. The article also sorts out the text of the piece and verifies them with their counterparts in ‘The Dongpo’s Collection’ . This thesis focuses mainly on the common characteristics of this work and Su Shi’s other work of the same period. Meanwhile, it classifies Su’s regular script works and summarizes the artistic style of ‘Dagoba Inscription of Zhenxiang Temple in Changqing,Qizhou’ as ‘Pure, Strength, Steady, Majestic’. Among all of the existed Su Shi’s work, this piece owns its unique charm, representing Su’s typical style in early Reign of Yuan You and thus acts as an important model for further study of Su Shi's writing style. This article, which thoroughly analyzes the artistic value of ‘Dagoba Inscription of Zhenxiang Temple in Changqing,Qizhou’, may significantly fills the academic gap of Su Shi's calligraphy research
