古希腊文明是现代西方文明源泉，古代地中海，便是东西方交汇的重要纽带。远古时代，爱琴海东岸与西岸，就是一个不断交汇的状态。在公元前4世纪，亚历山大大帝东征以后，古希腊文化更向东大范围传播，其影响从小亚细亚直达中亚和南亚。本文以今日土耳其境内的3座保存了古希腊遗址的城市,3个古代希腊风格极其明显的地区为例，展示古希腊文化传播的历史，分析古希腊文化在小亚细亚地区的存留和影响。
