本文的研究对象宛平王氏家族，是明清时期北京地区较为著名的世家大族之一。明万历年间，宛平王氏族人分别以文、武两途入仕，肇兴于京畿地区。明清鼎革之际，王氏四世族人入仕清廷，为家族今后的发展道路奠定了新的方向。此后，宛平王氏通过重视科举、联姻望族等手段，开辟了家族势力逐渐臻于顶峰的广阔前景，至清乾隆时期兴衰史达两百余年。　　本文利用宛平王氏族谱、正史、相关地方志、诗文集、墓志铭等史料，借鉴前人的研究成果，结合明清时期政治和社会跌宕起伏的变动环境，考察分析王氏家族的发展历程、代表人物、科举仕宦、联姻状况、宗族建设等基本情况，分析其中一些重要因素对家族命运的影响。同时通过宛平王氏家族的个案研究，为探索明清时期北方家族的发展状况提供例证。论文正文分为六个部分：　　第一部分，重构宛平王氏家族在明清时期的发展历程，解读其发展脉络。　　第二部分，重点分析王氏家族明清时期的两个代表人物，分别是四世王崇简，清顺治年间官至礼部尚书；五世王熙，清康熙年间官至保和殿大学士兼礼部尚书，父子二人引领王氏家族的发展迈向新的阶段。　　第三部分，统计归纳王氏家族的科举仕宦情况，并分析其发展变化的主要特征和影响因素。　　第四部分，观察王氏家族的联姻状况，重点阐述两个与其结为世婚关系的家族——直隶高阳李氏和山东曲阜孔氏，总结联姻对家族发展的推动作用。　　第五部分，介绍王氏家族的宗族建设和家风。宗族建设主要从族谱编修和家族茔地两个方面分析，通过历代族人的典型事例印证宛平王氏“诚信孝亲、道德垂范”的持久家风。　　最后为结语，总结全文，引申出对世家大族盛衰原因的讨论，概括明清时期北方世家大族发展的共性特征。

The Wang Clan of Wanping was one of the most famous imperial families in Beijing during the period of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Wang Clan of Wanping entered the political stratum by way of military accomplishments and imperial examinations and rose in the capital city in the Reign of Ming Emperor Jiajing. The Wang clan served for Qing Dynasty politically after the extinction of Ming Dynasty. This activity made a new direction clear for the whole family. From then to the Reign of Qing Emperor Qianlong, the Wang clan had maintained over 200 year’s prosperity by using a series of strategies, such as paying great attention to family members’ imperial examinations, establishing close relations by marriage with other prominent families. 　　The article drawing on the experience of comparatively systematic research to the Wang Clan of Wanping, on the basis of historical documents such as genealogy, official history, local chronicle, anthology and epitaph, with the social and political changes in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from the point of view of family history, comprehensively investigates the basic situation of the family development, such as development course, clan representatives, imperial examinations achievements, marriage situation, Clan Construction, and analyzes some important factors’ effect. With the case of the Wang Clan of Wanping, we can provide exemplification for the study of the northern families in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The article investigates the family development course, clan representatives, imperial examinations achievements and marriage situation on the basis of historical documents. 　　The article includes six sections: 　　The first section reconstitutes Wang Clan’s development course and unscrambles its developmental context in Ming and Qing Dynasties. 　　The second section analyzes two representatives of Wang Clan in Ming and Qing Dynasties. They are Wang Chongjian, the 4th generation; Wang Xi, the 5th generation. They had contributed a lot in the course of Wang Clan’s development.　　The third section adds up and induces the imperial examinations achievements of Wang Clan, analyzes the features and influencing factors.　　The fourth section observes Wang Clan’s marriage situation, focuses on two families which had established marriage relationship with Wang Clan for generations——Li Clan of Gaoyang and Kong Clan of Qufu, as a result Wang Clan’s power greatly strengthened. 　　The fifth section introduces the clan construction and family culture. We investigate the editing of genealogy and the family grave in the part of clan construction. The typical case of family members proves that integrity, filial piety and becoming the model of moral are always the Wang Clan’s style. The last section is conclusion, this part discusses the reasons of Wang Clan’s rise and fall and summarizes the common developing characteristics of the northern families in Ming and Qing Dynasties by comprehensively analyzing the development course of Wang Clan.
