本文采用文本细读的方法，以英国作家格雷厄姆·格林的《权力与荣耀》为主要研究对象，指出主人公的摹仿基督受难的特点。第一章论证《权力与荣耀》中“基督受难”摹仿的情节特点，指出威士忌神父赴死是对耶稣基督受难的摹仿，威士忌神父最终也成为耶稣式的“羔羊”。第二章进一步分析《权力与荣耀》“基督受难”摹仿情节的隐密对比，剖析圣徒胡安对“基督受难”的摹仿与威士忌神父的摹仿在文本中形成的张力结构。第三章则拓展至格林“宗教四部曲”里的另外两部小说《问题的核心》、《恋情的终结》，指出这两部作品的主人公也同样有着摹仿基督受难的特点，但通过对比可知，《权力与荣耀》关于威士忌神父摹仿基督受难所作的描写具有更明确的宗教意义。

The thesis targets at The Power and the Glory, a novel written by the British novelist Graham Greene, in order to reveal the feature of the protagonist`s imitation of the passion of Christ. Chapter One demonstrates the feature of imitation in the plot of The Power and the Glory , indicating the death of the whisky priest who becomes a Jesus-like scapegoat in the end imitates the passion of Christ. Chapter Two continues analyzing the convert contrast of the imitated plot of the passion of Christ, exploring the structure’s tension between Saint Juan’s imitation of the passion of Christ and the whisky priest’s. Chapter Three expands to the other two novels of Green`s religious tetralogy, The Heart of the Matter and The End of the Affair demonstrating that the protagonists in both of the novels also have the imitation's features of the passion of Christ,but the description of the whisky priest`s imitation of the passion of Christ has a more definite religious sense by contrast.
