从汉末的朱穆，到魏末的嵇康，再到南朝梁的刘峻等作家，他们的作品中，都有关于绝交的内容。他们或与志不同道不合的朋友割席分坐，或就绝交一事写作专门的文章来加以揄扬。参之其他朝代，似乎很少有文人如此“高调”地宣布和友人绝交，甚至为绝交一事专门做论。“绝交”似乎是这一时期文学中一个很醒目的题材。

From Zhu Mu in the late Han dynasty,to Ji Kang in the late Wei dynasty,and to writers in the South dynasty like Liu Jun,they had both wrote the same subject-diffidation.They may break the friendship with friends who have the different ideal,or do some works to appreciate the phenomenon of diffidation.Referring to other dynasts,it seems that few writers would make the announcement of diffidation so sharply,so much as write a monography about diffidation.Therefore,in this period,diffidation seems to be a particular theme that strikes the eye.
