The paper tries to analyze the image of Javert in the novel from the two aspects:the process of the change of Javert and Javert's artistic value in the novel . The paper wants to find the immanent causes why Javert would change and what the writer Hugo has done for the character. At the same time, I will try to make a deeper analysis with Tong Qingbing and Tao Dongfeng's theory of the tension of history and humans and Hegel's theory of tragedy aesthetic.Make sure that Javert has the very important position in the novel and also has great value in the series of the literature character. |
