不同类型的字体是否会影响文章的可读性这个问题一直被国内外学者关注,本实验对字体的情感类型与文章类型进行分类,考察字体风格与文章类型的一致与不一致是否会影响文章的可读性。实验采用3(字体风格:庄重字体、普通字体、活泼字体)×3(文章类型:庄重文章、普通文章、活泼文章)被试内设计,控制其他可能对文本阅读产生影响的字体因素、排版因素以及语言学因素,因变量为被试阅读时间,被试的题目回答正确率和主观可读性评价被用来检验阅读效果。本实验中,字体风格的和文章类型的主效应都不显著,字体风格和文章类型的交互作用显著,检验简单效应的结果表明,在阅读庄重类型以及活泼类型的文章时,三种字体的文章阅读时长边缘显著,阅读普通类型的文章时,三种字体没有差异;固定三种字体后,只有活泼字体方正准圆在阅读三种文章时阅读时间有显著差异,庄重风格的字体与无属性偏好的字体在阅读不同类型的文章时阅读时长无明显差异。字体风格在阅读不同类型的文章时的差异表明情绪在阅读中起调节作用,支持情绪调节假说。

Researchers have been concerned about whether different types of fonts will affect the readability of the article, this experiment divided different emotional expression of the article and fonts to examine whether the relationship between the Chinese font emotional expression and the emotional type of article will affect the readability of the article. The experiment uses 3 (font style: solemn font, ordinary font, lively font) × 3 (article type: solemn article, ordinary article, lively article) subjects designed, control font factors, typesetting factors, and linguistic factors, among other variables that may affect the readability of the article, the dependent variable is the reading time of the articles, and the correctness and subjective readability of the articles are used to test the reading effect. In this experiment, the main effect of font style and article type is not significant, the interaction between font style and article type is significant, and the results of simple results show that reading of three kinds of fonts when reading solemn types and lively types of articles Time margin is significant, read the general type of article, the three fonts no difference; fixed three fonts, lively fonts in reading three articles when there are significant differences, solemn fonts and non-attribute font reading speed is no difference. The difference in font style when reading different types of articles suggests that emotions play a regulatory role in reading and support emotional adjustment hypothesis.
