郁达夫的《沉沦》和太宰治的《人间失格》都是反映动荡时代中青年由于种种生理与精神困境最终走向堕落与毁灭的自叙传小说文本，二者在人物塑造、主题与情节等方面存在大量相似之处，但作为小说的自叙主体，两位作 家本人的人生际遇与小说主人公的悲观结局相互作用产生了截然不同的实际 效应，郁达夫从文本内部的“颓废青年”跨越为文本外部的“革命践行者”，太宰治却在文本内外寻求某种一致性。本文旨在以《沉沦》与《人间失格》 的比较研究为起点，试图寻找两位相似的作家的两种人生样态之间差异的来源，分析其成长过程中对家庭、信仰、时代社会的理解及其心境变化。同时，关注当下青年人对二者小说的追捧背后反映的群体心理，以及其人生历程对青少年完成自我成长的启示。

Yu Dafu's "Sinking" and Taizai Ji's "No Longer Human" are both self-narrating novel texts that reflect the young people in the turbulent times who eventually degenerate and destroy due to various physiological and spiritual difficulties. There are a lot of similarities between them in terms of characterization, theme and plot. However, as the writers of self-narrating novels, the real life experiences of the two writers and the pessimistic ending of the protagonists has produced completely different practical effects: Yu Dafu has changed from a "decadent youth" inside the text to a "revolutionary practitioner" outside the text, while Taizai Ji seeks a certain kind of consistency between his works and life. Based on the comparative study of "Sinking" and "No Longer Human", this paper tries to find out the source of the difference between the two similar writers' two life styles, and analyze their understanding of family, faith, society and mood changes during their growing up. At the same time, it focuses on the group mind behind the young people's pursuit of the two novels, and the enlightenment to the young people's self-growth.
