This paper has conducted research on the subject of Chinese fantasy novels which have been released on Webnovel（Chinese network literature community） ，and explored the relationship between the participation behavior of overseas users on the Chinese online literature platform and cultural differences. This paper has captured the visible data of the platform by means of web crawler, finally have collected the relevant data of 100 Chinese fantasy novels in English versions and 100 literary works of foreign authors, including all readers' comments (as of February 2022). In order to intuitively analyze the relationship between overseas users' participation behavior and cultural differences, this paper adopts the content analysis method of combining quantitative research and qualitative analysis, and uses keyword mining, network analysis, regression analysis and other technologies to analyze comments and novels respectively, so as to explore the difference of readers' participation and its relationship with cultural distance. The results show that there are significant differences in users' score participation under different national cultural backgrounds. When the national masculinity cultural dimension is between (25, 66), users' relative score increases with its increase. The relative score of users increases with the increase of the value of national masculinity culture dimension; When the cultural distance is (1.4, 3.7), the user's relative score increases with the increase of cultural distance, showing a positive causal relationship; In the dimension of comment participation, when the value of individualistic culture dimension is in the range of (0，30), (65，100), the comment amount of overseas readers increases with the increase of individualistic culture dimension; In the content of comments, the comment data sets of three cultural distance intervals show a homogeneous keyword network. Users often comment on the story, background, characters, plot and other structures of the work itself, and pay attention to the translation quality of the work.

In general, this paper finds that in the Chinese online literature platform, the participation behavior of overseas users is related to their background cultural differences. It provided support for the foreign differential communication of China's network culture.
