In this paper, I recognizing "The Book of Songs" as a starting point，referring to Zhou Dynasty’s history of exploring southern area, analyze the reason and representation of "The Book of Songs"’ special concern for the conquest of the South, and thus research the mix of curiosity, fear and longing in contemporary people’s mind, as well as Zhou Dynasty’s ethnic policy based on the keynote of integration.
