艾米莉.勃朗特，Emily Bronte，1818~1848，是英国一位天才的女作家，夏洛蒂·勃朗特之妹，安妮·勃朗特之姐，。她被人们认为是三姐妹中天分最高的一位。她沉默寡言，性格自闭，孤傲乖僻，挚爱荒原，一生中几乎没有朋友。但她却有惊人的想象力和卓越的文才，创作了大量的抒情诗。《呼啸山庄》是她唯一的一部小说，发表于1847年12月。它有一种神秘而强烈的磁性，吸引和震撼着读者的心，以其罕见的思想内容和独特的艺术构造在世界文学界里占据着独有的位置。除《呼啸山庄》外，艾米莉还创作了193 首诗并以唯一的一部小说《呼啸山庄》驰名文坛，被誉为英国 19 世纪文学史中最奇特的女作家。艾米莉.勃朗特和她的《呼啸山庄》的研究一直是英语文学领域最热门的题之一。一百多年以来国内外研究者们的对这部作品持有各自的不同见解和解释。本文作者认为一个作品的研究和分析是离不开对其作者的研究的，因为作者是通过她/他的作品表达她/他的情感思想。所以本文以心理分析方法审视艾米莉的情感经历，重点强调作者本人和她作品的关系，从而证明小说两个主人公的命运和所作所为从不同的角度揭示 了作者本人的内心矛盾，换句话说，揭示了艾米莉她对自然的向往和对社会枷锁的领悟之间的矛盾。

Emily Bronte(1818-1848), an English woman writer, is considered to be one of the most original,unique and imaginative among the world’s great writers.Emily Bronte published only one novel, Wuthering Heights (1847); a classic tale of possessive and thwarted passion, a story of doomed love and revenge. This single work has its unique place among the masterpieces of English literature and it stands outstandingly original and aloof among all the good works of world literature. Even after all the studies and disputes the scholars have done so far, the opinions and interpretations to Wuthering Heights still differ in many aspects.The author of this paper believes that any study or interpretation of a work shouldn't be separated from the study of its author, especially, in analyzing the work of a very original writer like Emily Bronte. It is the author who is talking through the whole work, conveying his/her belief.This paper will examine the work from a totally different angle, emphasizing on the Psychological study of Emily Bronte thus finding out the special relationship between Emily Bronte and her characters in Wuthering Height and last prove that two main characters’destiny and doings directly reveal Emily Bronte’s own inner conflict the conflict between her Id (her desire for nature)and Ego (her awareness of requirement of society).
