摘要:简•奥斯丁（1775至1817年）是英国历史上著名的女性作家，在她短暂的一生中，一共创作了六部优秀的小说作品。《傲慢与偏见》是她的代表作之一主要反映了奥斯汀对于婚姻和生活的态度与看法。简•奥斯丁认为纵然财富是婚姻的保障，爱情才是幸福婚姻最为重要的因素。在《傲慢与偏见》中，四位女主角根据自己的需要作出了极为不同的婚姻选择，最终也影响了她们一生的幸福。根据心理学上马斯洛需要层次理论，不同的需要层次反映了人不同的发展层次，因此本文采用马斯洛需要层次理论着重分析四位女性的婚姻选择所反映出的不同发展层次；而这种从最底层的生理需要到最高层的自我实现需要的发展趋势也在一定程度上体现了女性自我意识的发展。

Abstract:Jane Austen (1775--1817) was one of the most famous female writer in Britain. In her short life, Austen wrote six great novels, and Pride and Prejudice was one of her representative work which expressed Austen’s attitude toward marriage and life. From the perspective of Jane Austen, fortune is the protection of marriage; however, love is the most important element in a happy marriage. In Pride and Prejudice, four women, due to their various needs, have made their different choices, which finally affect their whole lives. According to Maslow's theory of Hierarchy of Needs, diverse needs reflect different development levels. Therefore, by adopting Maslow’s theory, this paper mainly concentrates on how the four female marriage choices reveal the characteristics of their different hierarchies of needs, varying from the bottom level of physiological needs to the top level of the need for self-actualization. This paper also points out that the different levels of needs reflect the development of feminist consciousness in their age.
