由明末清初入华欧洲传教士撰译的西洋人著作，内容丰富、总数庞大，是我国文献典籍中的一朵奇葩。说它“奇”，侧重的是其作者、内容相较于传统古籍的独特性和异质性；说它“葩”，意在彰显其所折射的中西文献交流的重要价值。纵然清前期知识界在“禁教令”下对天主教和西洋人抱有敌意和偏见，但面对这样一朵绚丽奇葩，官方书目《四库全书总目》仍无法视而不见。经统计，《总目》共收录西洋人著作32种。

本文即以《总目》西洋人著作提要为中心展开研究，共分四章。第一章首先定义“西洋人著作”的涵义，并与学界类似概念进行辨析，说明本文提出“西洋人著作”的必要性；其次，结合明清间天主教在华传播史实，概述《总目》纂修前西洋人著作的译介、流布史。第二章列表汇总《总目》所收西洋人著作之信息，并将其与《四库采进书目》相关记载对比，分析各地采进本西洋人著作价值和局限，揭示李之藻《天学初函》补采进未备、丰富馆臣视野重要贡献。第三章围绕分类、著录存目标准、排列次序这三个方面研究《总目》对西洋人提要的编录方式，重点评判分类标准和排列逻辑的合理性。第四章是对西洋人著作提要文本相关问题的考辨，分析编纂者组织提要的方法，并利用多种提要文本，讨论了两江进呈两卷本《乾坤体义》的卷帙问题。最后，指出西洋人著作提要所反映的官方对中西学关系的两种主流认识，思考二者之间的内在关系。结语部分，对全文的主要结论和研究方法作一收束，并简要说明《总目》西洋人著作提要对清中晚期知识分子接受西学所起到的独特文化作用。

以往学界对《总目》西洋人著作提要的探讨多侧重于官方西学观，属于思想史的范畴。本文则采用了历史文献学的方法，将《总目》西洋人著作提要放置于传统目录学、《四库全书》编纂过程的视野下进行研究，希望在既往研究的基础上，能够对《总目》西洋人著作提要得出一点新的认识。

The works of Xiyangren 西洋人 by European missionaries who entered China in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties are rich in content and a huge total number, and are a special flower in China's literary classics. To say that it is "special" focuses on the characteristic of its author and content compared to chinese traditional books; Saying that it is "flower" is intended to highlight the important value of the exchange of Chinese and Western literature. Although the Qing Dynasty intellectuals were hostile and prejudiced against Catholics and missionaries under the " Prohibition of Churches ", in the face of such a splendid flower, the official bibliography Siku quanshu zongmu四库全书总目could not turn a blind eye. According to statistics, Siku Quanshu zongmu contains a total of 32 Xiyangren' s works.

This article is divided into four chapters centered on the works and synopsis of Westerners collected in the Siku Quanshu zongmu . The first chapter firstly defines the meaning of " Xiyangren' s works" and analyzes similar concepts in other academic circles, explaining the necessity of " Xiyangren' s works" proposed in this paper. Secondly, combined with the historical facts of the spread of Catholicism in China during the late Ming and Qing dynasties, this paper summarizes the history of the creation and dissemination of Xiyangren' s works before the compilation of the Siku Quanshu zongmu. Chapter 2 summarizes the information of Xiyangren' s works collected in the Siku Quanshu zongmu, compares them with the relevant records of the Siku Caijin Shumu四库采进书目, analyzes the value and limitations of the Xiyangren' s works brought from various places, and reveals the important contribution of Tianxue Chuhan 天学初函 edited by Li Zhizao 李之藻 to supplement the collection and enrich the vision . Chapter 3 examines the cataloguing of Xiyangren' s works in the Siku Quanshu zongmu from three aspects: classification, bibliographic standards, and ranking order, and re-evaluates the rationality of classification criteria and ranking order. Chapter 4 narrows its view to the reviews (tiyao提要) of Xiyangren' s works, analyzes the ways and means by which compilers organize the content of the tiyao, points out the two mainstream official understandings of the relationship between Chinese and Western studies reflected in the tiyao of Xiyangren' s works, considers the internal relationship between the two, and finally attempts to discuss the issue of the volume of Qiankun Tiyi 乾坤体义brought from Liangjiang两江 region. The concluding part summarizes the main ideas and research methods of the full paper, Briefly illustrating the unique cultural role played by the Xiyangren' s works and tiyao included in the Siku Quanshu zongmu on the acceptance of Western studies by intellectuals in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.

In the past, the discussion of Xiyangren' s works and tiyao included in the Siku Quanshu zongmu mostly focused on the official Western view and its influences, which belonged to the category of intellectual history. This paper places the Xiyangren' s works and tiyao included in the Siku Quanshu zongmu from the perspective of traditional bibliography and the compilation process of the Siku Quanshu四库全书. Hoping that on the basis of the existing research, this paper can gain a new understanding of the collection and commentary of Xiyangren' s works in the Siku Quanshu zongmu.
