本研究旨在探究直接法在越南初级汉语短期班线上教学中的应用及其有效性。直接法是一种历史悠久且在多个语言教学领域中广泛应用的教学方法。尽管在越南的英语教学中取得了显著成效,但在汉语教学中的应用却不够广泛,特别是在线上教学环境中。考虑到越南汉语学习者对提高交际能力的需求,本研究着眼于探索直接法在线上这一特定教学环境下的适用性和效果。

本研究采用了综合研究方法,包括文献回顾、教学实验设计、案例分析、课堂观察、问卷调查和访谈法。首先,通过对现有文献的分析,建立了研究的理论基础,并对越南汉语教学的现状进行了评估。接着,通过在XLS汉语培训机构进行实际教学实验,深入探讨了直接法在线上教学中的应用。

本研究发现,直接法在越南初级汉语短期班线上教学中具有显著优势,能够有效提升学生的语言能力和学习兴趣。学生在口语交际能力和语言理解方面都显示出了明显的进步。此外,教学案例分析表明,直接法能够成功地适应线上教学的特点和需求。

研究还指出了直接法应用中的一些挑战,如教学资源的缺乏和教师培训的需要。本研究的结论强调了在越南短期班初级汉语线上教学中应用直接法的重要性,并提出了未来的研究方向和改进建议,以进一步提升教学效果和学习体验。

外文摘要:

This study aims to investigate the application and effectiveness of the Direct Method in online teaching of elementary Chinese language short courses in Vietnam. The Direct Method is a time-honored teaching approach widely employed in various language instruction fields. Despite its notable success in English teaching in Vietnam, its application in Chinese language instruction has been limited, especially in an online teaching environment. Considering the need of Vietnamese learners of Chinese to enhance communicative competence, this study focuses on exploring the suitability and effectiveness of the Direct Method in this specific online educational context.

The research employs a comprehensive methodology, including literature review, experimental teaching design, case analysis, classroom observation, surveys, and interviews. Initially, the theoretical foundation of the study was established through an analysis of existing literature, along with an assessment of the current state of Chinese language teaching in Vietnam. Subsequently, practical teaching experiments were conducted at XLS Chinese Language Training Institute to delve into the application of the Direct Method in online teaching.

The findings reveal that the Direct Method holds significant advantages in the online instruction of elementary Chinese short courses in Vietnam, effectively enhancing students' language skills and learning interest. Students demonstrated noticeable improvement in oral communicative abilities and language comprehension. Additionally, case analyses of teaching practices indicate that the Direct Method can successfully adapt to the characteristics and demands of online instruction.

The study also identifies challenges in the application of the Direct Method, such as the lack of teaching resources and the need for teacher training. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of applying the Direct Method in online elementary Chinese short courses in Vietnam and suggest future research directions and improvements to further enhance teaching effectiveness and learning experience.
