《秦边纪略》又名《西陲要略》，是一部记载“秦边”地区边疆情况的舆地著作，其内容十分丰富，涵盖了该地区的历史、地理、民族等多个方面的历史信息。对于此书的作者、成书年代、版本等的学术研究已经十分充分。经前人研究认为《秦边纪略》一书作者为梁份，成书年代为康熙年间，目前所发现的版本共有六种。《秦边纪略》一书的史料价值很高，其中的《噶尔旦传》早为学界所重视，而《近疆西夷传》中关于当时清朝边境的西蒙古部落的记载也是极其重要。

QINBIANJILUE （秦边纪略）also known as XICHUIJINLUE （西陲今略）is a book which recorded the condition of "Qin Bian "area. Its content is very rich, covering the region's history, geography,ethnic. Academic research of the book`s author, version has been very plentiful. Previous studies suggest that the author of the book is Liangfen and it was writed in the reign of Emperor Kangxi .There is a total of six versions of the book that can be founded now. The historical value of its records of the Mongol tribes near the Qing empere`s border is extremely high . Although this paper`s called THE RESERRCH OF JINJIANGXIYIZHUAN （近疆西夷传）IN THE QINBIANJILUE（秦边纪略）,actually this paper doesn`t cover every aspect of JINJIANGXIYIZHUAN`s （近疆西夷传）research. On the basis of previous studies, this paper mainly conduct a comprehensive study on the problems that is founded.The first part of this paper mainly studys THE CHRONICLE OF LIANGFEN’S LIFE wich was separatedly writed by Naito Konan and Tangzhong ，and correct its two errors .Tthe second part of this paper manly discusses the ZHUNANGTAIJIZHUAN （祝囊台吉传）in JINJIANGXIYIZHUAN （近疆西夷传）.This part studys three questions : the origin of the word Zhunangtaiji（祝囊台吉，jinong tayiji ）,the origin of the title jinong in the western Mongolian and how it is used in the western Mongolian , the textual research of ZHUNANGTAIJIZHUAN （祝囊台吉传）. The third part of this paper fistly discusses the differences between the two HANDUNTAIJIZHUAN（憨顿台吉传）in two different books ,and then studys the Ultimate fate of Handuntaiji（憨顿台吉，khandu tayiji）. The fourth part of this paper mainly studys the differences between QINBIANJILUE（秦边纪略） and Qing dynesty’s governmental history book ,and on this basis ,try to have a more comprehensive understand of Xitao Mongolian（西套蒙古） history. The aim of the paper is to study and solve problems. Thus, in fact, the subject just marked a scope of the study, in this range whatever problems associated with it are the object of my study.
