本科海外游学是扩大学生视野、提高本科质量的关键。在游学过程中,跨文化适应的问题,有没有,有多大,为什么会出现这些问题,以及这些适应问题如何解决,都是十分值得探讨的。本研究通过非参与式观察、访谈、文献资料分析等方法对中国大陆本科交换生进行了质性访谈和研究。从交换生跨文化适应的整体经历入手,梳理并选取关键事件,并通过三级编码的方式构建出大陆本科交换生跨文化适应中遇到的障碍。研究主要有以下发现:大陆本科交换生跨文化适应障碍表现在生活、学业、人际交往、心理、环境、回国后适应障碍这六个维度和十七个小方面,为更好的了解交换生在国外所遇到的困难提供了系统的框架。而且通过研究发现,文化对交换生的生存状态有建构的作用;不仅如此,虽然大陆本科交换生在跨文化适应当中存在一定的障碍,但是这些障碍也在交换的过程中逐渐消解,是交换生和环境互动发展的结果。
外文摘要:
Undergraduate overseas study is to expand the vision of students and is the key to improve the quality of undergraduate education. In the process of overseas study, where do these cross-culture adaptation problems exist, how difficult these problems are, why do they exist and how to improve these problems deserves to be discussed. This study was conducted by non-participatory observation, interview and literature data analysis to do the qualitative interviews and research on the undergraduate exchange students in mainland china. This study goes in depth from the students’ overall experience of the intercultural adaptation, sorts out and selects the key events, and through the selective coding to build the obstacles which exchange students may meet in their exchange experience. The main findings are as follows: intercultural adaptation obstacles in mainland exchange students appears in six aspects which are living conditions, academic situation, interpersonal communication, psychological status, exchange environment and adaptive barriers after returning back. Moreover, through the research culture plays a constructive role in the exchange students’ survival state was found out. Although there are some obstacles in the process of intercultural adaptation, these obstacles are also gradually eliminating. It’s the result of the interaction between exchange students and the environment.
