 从数学新课程改革和核心素养发展的要求来看,数学教学不应该是单一的知识传授,应注重多种教学方式的综合运用,给予学生动手实践和自主探索学习的机会。项目学习作为一种新型的学习方法,“做中学”的教学理念为指导,倡导以小组合作的方式完成具体的项目任务,已不再是单一的将知识技能传授给学生,而是引导学生在完成项目任务的过程中掌握知识锻炼技能,在此过程中提高学生各方面的能力。

近年来,项目学习在我国数学教学中有了较多的应用,农村学生作为我国学生中的特殊群体,是否能在农村小学数学教学中开展项目学习呢?基于此,本研究采用行动研究的方式,用课堂观察、测验法、访谈法、作品分析法等方法,围绕着农村小学项目学习的开发实施过程,重点解决两个问题:(1)如何在农村小学开展数学项目学习?2)项目学习在农村小学数学教学中的实施效果如何?

围绕研究问题,本研究对苏教版六年级数学教材中图形与几何中的内容进行项目学习课程资源的开发,开展了为期一个月的行动研究。形成了农村小学数学项目学习课程资源设计流程,并发现为开展小组合作做好准备充分利用项目过程资料、教师及时反馈、加强预学与复习指导等方法能帮助项目学习更好的开展。本研究结果显示在农村小学数学教学中开展项目学习能提高学生课堂参与的积极性,大部分学生有较为积极的情感体验,能提高学生问题解决能力中的问题提出能力,但对学生的学业成绩无显著影响。通过对收集的过程性与结果性资料进行分析发现项目学习在农村小学数学教学中具备实施的可能性、小组合作学习与学生的情感体验是影响农村小学数学项目学习的重要因素、数学项目学习对农村学生的影响主要体现在非认知因素上、项目学习对不同水平学生的影响是不同的。

From the requirements of the new curriculum reform of mathematics and the development of the core literacy, mathematics teaching should not be a single teaching of knowledge, but should pay attention to the comprehensive application of various teaching methods, and give students the opportunity to practice and explore their own learning. As a new learning method, project-based learning is guided by the teaching concept of "learning by doing". This method, advocating using group cooperation to complete specific project tasks, is no longer only to impart knowledge and skills to students, but to guide students to master knowledge and exercise skills in the process of completing project tasks. In this process, students’ abilities in all aspects can be improved.

In recent years, project-based learning has been widely used in mathematics teaching in China. Rural students are a special group of students in our country, then can project-based learning be used in teaching mathematics in rural primary schools? Based on this question, this study adopts the approach of action research. By using classroom observation, test, interview, work analysis and other methods, the study focused on the development and implementation process of project-based learning in rural primary schools and mainly solves two problems: (1) How to carry out mathematics project-based learning in rural primary schools? (2) What is the effect of  using project-based learning in mathematics teaching in rural primary schools?

Focusing on the research problems, this study develops the project-based learning curriculum resources of graph and geometry in the sixth grade mathematics textbook of Jiangsu Education Edition, and carries out a one-month action research. A design process of mathematics project-based learning curriculum resource for rural primary schools has been formed, and it is found that group cooperation preparation, full use of materials in project process, teachers’ timely feedback, and better pre-learning and review guidance can help the project-based learning to be carried out better. The results of this study show that using project-based learning in mathematics teaching in rural primary schools can improve students’ enthusiasm of participating in class, give most students positive emotional experience, and can improve students’ problem-solving ability of proposing problems. However, it can not effectively improve students’ academic performance. Through the analysis of the process and result data collected, it is found that there is a possibility of implanting project-based learning in mathematics teaching in rural primary schools, the effect of group cooperative learning is an important factor affecting the mathematics project-based learning of rural primary schools, the influence of mathematics project-based learning on rural students is mainly reflected in the non-cognitive factors, and the influence of project-based learning on the students of different levels is different.
