本文通过问卷调查的方式研究了汉语拒绝言语行为的情况，并从拒绝策略、引导语情况、社会因素（包括社会地位、社会关系、社会距离、性别）及困扰程度方面对调查结果进行了分析，得出了汉语拒绝言语行为的特点。依照调查所得结果，本文将汉语和韩语的拒绝言语行为情况进行了比较，并得出了两者的异同之处。鉴于教材在语言教学中的重要性，本文还分析了汉语教材中所出现的拒绝言语行为的语料，并将之和调查所得结果进行比较，得出了教材设计在拒绝言语行为上的不足之处，并提出了改进意见。

This thesis investigates and analyses refusal strategies of Chinese native speakers in the situational and social variables. Furthermore, according to the analysed data, this thesis reports a contrastive study on refusal strategies between Chinese and Korean. The study of the speech act of refusals is important because refusals are culture specific and they reflect fundamental values of this society. Moreover, since refusals are intrinsically face threatening, cross-cultural misunderstanding can lead to serious consequences in communication. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate and analyse the speech act of refusals used inthe Chinese textbooks. This thesis points out several problems considering the speech act of refusals used in the Chinese textbooks.
