威廉•华兹华斯是英国伟大的浪漫主义诗人，一些学者甚至认为他是继莎士比亚和弥尔顿之后英国最伟大的诗人。华兹华斯的诗歌和诗歌理论一直都受到国内外评论家的广泛关注和研究。华兹华斯曾被雪莱冠以“自然诗人”的美誉，但实际上他是一位关注人性的诗人。本文将在诗歌文本分析的基础上，探讨华兹华斯诗歌中闪烁的人性光芒。全文共分六章：在第一章中，笔者回顾国内外学者对华兹华斯的研究，尤其是对其诗歌中人性问题的评论，陈述本文观点。在第二章中，笔者从华兹华斯所处时代背景出发，分析了在动荡时代中迷失和受伤的人性，进而分析了华氏眼中的人性。第三章中笔者通过分析华兹华斯丰富的人生经历，说明了他逐渐形成了对人性的关注。在第四章和第五章中,笔者分别阐述了在华兹华斯诗歌理论和诗歌作品中人性的体现。在第六章中，笔者总结全文，并提出本文局限性和更深入的研究方向。通过对华兹华斯诗歌文本的分析，笔者希望读者能够感受到诗人对人性的热爱和借由诗歌挽救人性的渴望。

William Wordsworth is a great English Romantic poet, and he is now considered by some scholars to be placed just below Shakespeare and Milton in rankings of the great English poets. Being the issues of critics, Wordsworth's poetry and poetic theories have aroused various concerns at home and abroad. Wordsworth had been dubbed as a "Poet of Nature" by Shelley, but in fact he is a poet concerned for human nature. On the basis of the analysis of the poetical texts, the author investigates human nature in Wordsworth’s poetry. This thesis is composed of six chapters. In Chapter One, the author surveys literature reviews and comments, especially on human nature in Wordsworth’s poetry, and proposes the central argument of the thesis. In the second chapter, the author focuses on the suffering of human nature in historical turbulence at Wordsworth’s times and analyzes the conception of “human nature” in Wordsworth’s eyes. Chapter Three serves as a biographical study, retracing the progression of Wordsworth’s care for human nature. In the fourth and fifth chapters, the author illustrates human nature expressed in Wordsworth’s poetic theory and his poems. In the last chapter, the author summarizes the major viewpoints presented above and proposes the limitations and questions to be further researched.Through the analysis of Wordsworth’s poetical texts, the author hopes that the readers can feel the poet’s love for human nature and his desire to save the lost and wounded human nature with the aid of poetry.
