Since it was founded, the Bank Weekly had played a great role being the mouse piece of the bank industry, focusing on the judgments and the analysis of the financial affairs. When The China Aid Act of 1948 had made a significant impact on the Chinese economic situation, the Bank Weekly launched a series of reports and comments that provided useful experience and references for the bank industry. We can make a further probe to the position of the bank industry in this event and the underlying causes behind it.
