近几十年来,阳离子光聚合技术由于具有抗氧阻聚、低收缩率,所用单体毒性低、气味小,对固化产物的时间和空间控制能力强等独特优势,在光固化应用领域引起了越来越多的关注。目前常用的阳离子光引发剂多为鎓盐类(如碘鎓盐、硫鎓盐等),其紫外吸收范围一般在320nm以内,不能满足目前长波长UV-LED光源的需求。同时,两种鎓盐在单体中的溶解度有限,也在一定程度上限制了它们的应用。因此,需开发溶解性较好且适用于长波长UV-LED光源的光引发体系,以推动阳离子光固化技术在长波长光固化领域的发展与应用。为此,本论文主要开展了两方面的工作:(1)长波长光敏剂或光引发剂增感碘鎓盐引发阳离子聚合反应的研究;(2)长波长光敏剂或光引发剂增感硫鎓盐引发阳离子聚合反应的研究。
(1)研究了2-异丙基硫杂蒽酮(ITX)、酰基膦类光引发剂819、二茂钛类光引发剂784分别增感碘鎓盐GR54引发不同单体(包括乙烯基醚单体HBVE,环氧单体E51、6110及氧杂环丁烷单体GR43)发生阳离子聚合反应的效果。研究发现:ITX可以较好地增感GR54引发环氧单体6110、E51,氧杂环丁烷单体GR43和乙烯基醚单体HBVE发生阳离子聚合,而819和784只能增感GR54引发HBVE的阳离子聚合反应。此外,碳酸丙烯酯类溶剂可以较好的溶解碘鎓盐GR54,可以用来改善GR54在配方中的溶解性。
(2)研究了吡唑啉类化合物(WSP-CSP),2-乙基蒽醌(2EAQ),9,10-二丁氧基蒽(PSS303),三苯氨基恶唑烷酮(PS-1)及吩噻嗪(PHT)分别增感硫鎓盐GR61引发阳离子聚合反应的情况。研究发现:2EAQ和PHT两种增感剂可以较好地增感GR61引发环氧单体6110、E51和乙烯基醚单体HBVE发生阳离子聚合反应。此外,碳酸丙烯酯类溶剂可以较好地溶解硫鎓盐GR61,可以用来改善硫鎓盐在配方中的溶解性。

In recent decades, cationic photopolymerization technology has attracted more and more attention in the field of photocuring due to its unique advantages of anti-oxygen polymerization, low shrinkage rate, low toxicity and odor of monomer used, and strong time and space control ability of curing products. Currently, cationic photo initiators are mostly onium salts (such as iodonium salt, sulfonium salt, etc.), but their UV absorption range is generally within 320nm, which can not meet the needs of the current long-wavelength UV-LED light source. The solubility of the two onium salts in monomers is limited, which limits their application to a certain extent. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a photoinitiation system with good solubility and suitable for long wavelength UV-LED light source, so as to promote the development and application of cationic photocuring technology in the field of long wavelength photocuring. To this end, this paper mainly carried out two aspects of work :(1) long wavelength photosensitizer or photoinitiator induced iodonium salt cationic polymerization; (2) Cationic polymerization induced by long wavelength photosensitizer or photoinitiator sulfonium salt.
(1) The cationic polymerization of different monomers (including vinyl ether monomers HBVE, epoxy monomers E51, 6110 and oxacyclobutane monomer GR43) induced by iodonium salt GR54 sensitized by 2-isopropyl thioxanthanone (ITX), acylphosphonic photoinitiator 819 and titanide photoinitiator 784 were studied. It was found that ITX could sensitize GR54 to induce cationic polymerization of HBVE, E51, 6110 and HBVE, while 819 and 784 could only sensitize GR54 to induce cationic polymerization of HBVE. In addition, propylene carbonate solvent can better solve iodonium salt GR54, which can be used to improve the solubility of GR54 in the formula.
(2) The cationic polymerization of sulfonium salt GR61 induced by pyrazoline compounds (WSP-CSP), 2-ethylanthraquinone (2EAQ), phenothiazine (PHT), 9, 10-dibutylanthracene (PSS303) and triphenylaminoxazolidone (PS-1) was studied. The results show that 2EAQ and PHT sensitizers have good sensitization effect on cationic polymerization of epoxy monomer 6110, E51 and vinyl ether HBVE initiated by GR61. In addition, propylene carbonate has a good solubility in sulfonium salt, so it can be used to improve the solubility of sulfonium salt in formulations.
