We are living in a world of technology artifacts, and we tend to make a better life with technology artifacts. The technological world strongly influences our mind and action. How to explain the problem of the moral status of technical artifacts, with the impact of technology on modern life and becomes increasingly urgent. This paper from the theory base of Kroes, technology moral status and the value of technology , systematically introduced Kroes′s thoughts of technology ethics , to help us have a correct view of the impact of technology on our lives. Kroes argues that technology is the inevitable result of the development of human, technical artifacts is the creation of the human mind and matter, and starting from the dual nature of technical artifacts to make an objective analysis of the role of technology, as well as its moral significance , criticizes the moral neutrality thesis and technological determinism ,and introduced the Value Sensitive Design to engineering design.
