在中学语文教学中，作文教学一直是语文教学中的老大难。尤其是农村中学的学生写作更是不容乐观，几乎多数学生写作目的不明确，通常是为了应付作业而完成作文，根本没有写作的冲动和激情，不能够表达自己的真情实感，写出来的文章是千人一腔，缺乏创造性。造成这种现象的原因笔者从三方面进行了分析：从社会层面的“读书无用论”带来的副作用不容忽视；二是家庭层面中的家长自身素质低，部分留守儿童给学校教育带来些诸多问题；三是学校层面教师的指导作用发挥不够等因素，使得农村中学作文教学更是举步维艰。针对摆在面前的现实问题，语文教师如何解决这一棘手的难题，笔者认为不应是带有“老虎吃天，无从下手”的消极态度，而是重在从教师方面指导学生把握写作教学规律，提高学生写作水平入手，着重从四方面着重致力：一是重在积累素材，解决学生“难为无米之炊”的问题；二是合理选材，教会学生围绕主题取舍材料；三是布局全篇，从思维方面锻炼学生写作的条理性；四是创意表达，着重培养学生语言表达能力。笔者在写作教学改革中从这四方面着手实践，力争使得农村中学的作文教学更具有实效性，也希望对同行们作文教学中的困惑予以借鉴。
