在经济新常态下的今天,随着生活节奏的加快,个体可能会遭遇各种各样不同类型的自我威胁事件,由于自我威胁会让人产生心理上的反感,所以人们会选择各种方式来缓解自身的威胁感,其中一种方式就是补偿性消费行为,但补偿性消费可能会给个体的生活带来各种负面影响。本研究致力于探究不同自我怜悯水平的人的补偿性消费意愿,验证自我怜悯对于补偿性消费的缓解作用,同时也探索其作用机制。在两项研究中,选取了不同的自我威胁事件,包括疫情威胁和权力感威胁。 研究一采用问卷法,在网上招募了120名疫情严重地区的被试,使用自我怜悯(SCS)量表测量其自我怜悯水平,使用自编题目测量被试在疫情期间的补偿性消费行为,并且探究二者之间的关系,使用统计软件SPSS 22.0对数据进行计算,研究结果表明,高自我怜悯个体的补偿性消费行为显著低于低自我怜悯个体。在研究二中,采用问卷法,在网络上招募120名工作群体被试,通过启动被试的权力感威胁,探究其自我怜悯水平、消极情绪与消费习惯之间的关系。本研究发现,自我怜悯负向预测补偿性消费,并且消极情绪在其中起中介作用;自我怜悯正向预测适应性消费,消极情绪的中介作用不显著。总的来说,这些研究表明,在自我威胁事件下,自我怜悯能够优化人们的消费行为。 本研究把自我怜悯这一构念引入到消费中,拓展了自我怜悯的应用领域,丰富了自我怜悯的理论框架,为减少人们的补偿性消费行为提供了新的思路。并启示消费者在日常生活中培养自我怜悯心态,养成良好的消费习惯;同时也能够帮助企业精准的把握用户的需求,明确产品定位。 |

In new normal economy, with the acceleration of the pace of life,individuals may encounter a variety of different types of self-discrepancy events, because self-discrepancy will cause psychological disgust, so people will choose a variety of ways to alleviate their sense of discrepancy, one of which is compensatory consumption behavior, but compensatory consumption may have a variety of negative effects on individual life. The purpose of this study is to explore the compensatory consumption willingness of people with different levels of self-compassion, to verify the mitigation effect of self-compassion on compensatory consumption, and to explore the mechanism of its effect. In two studies, different threat events were selected, including epidemic threat and sense of power threat. In study 1, 120 subjects from severe epidemic areas were recruited by questionnaire, their self-compassion level was measured by self-compassion scale, compensatory consumption behavior during the epidemic was measured by self-designed questions, and the relationship between them was explored. The statistical software SPSS 22.0 was used to calculate the experimental data. The result showed that the compensatory consumption willingness of high self-compassion individuals was significantly lower than that of low self-compassion individuals. In study 2, 120 working group subjects were recruited on the Internet by using a questionnaire to explore the relationship between their self-compassion level, negative affect and consumption habits by priming the threat of power. We found that self-compassion negatively predicted compensatory consumption, and negative affect played a mediating role; self-compassion positively predicted adaptive consumption, but this effect could not be explained by negative affect. In general, these studies show that self-compassion can optimize people's consumption behavior under self-discrepancy events. This study introduces the concept of self-compassion into consumption, expands the application field of self-compassion, enriches the theoretical framework of self-compassion, and provides new ideas for reducing people's compensatory consumption behavior. And inspire consumers to cultivate self-compassion mentality and good consumption habits in daily life; at the same time, it can also help enterprises to accurately grasp the needs of users, clear product positioning. |
