城市文学是对城市图景的一种想象性的文学实践。武汉,这样一个中部城市,它的文学以池莉和方方所写的武汉小说为标志,形成了独有特色,并呈现出逐步繁荣之势。本文以武汉文学为研究对象,考察作家笔下的武汉面貌,试图寻找使它呈现这种状态的内在思想文化根源。池莉和方方的作品奠定并提升了武汉文学在中国当代文学史上的地位。码头文化,及地理空间的书写丰富了人们对武汉的认知,也透露出作家的选择。以武汉方言为语言载体的叙事,流露出武汉人性情中的油滑、平庸与苦中作乐。作家们将视角从宏大政治叙事转向了普通民众的日常生活,将关注点从理想的气泡中拉回到现实,用极度写实的手法写出底层民众艰难的现实生活,写他们在物质上的匮乏和精神上的困窘,写他们务实的价值观。进一步分析在这样恶劣的生存条件下,受码头文化影响,武汉人性格中所形成的狠劲。勾勒武汉在小说中所呈现的整体形象后,进一步指出作家们不同的书写方式和情感态度。池莉忽视城乡之间的矛盾,一如既往地嘲弄知识分子,虽然认同市民对现实生活的妥协,但又不甘于理想的被迫放弃,有些许矛盾蕴含其中。方方站在精英叙事的立场,意识到当下生活中历史的如影随形,用批判的色彩,继续着城市精神和理想的找寻。先锋小说家张执浩躲在城里的斗室中,用虚拟经验,想象性地描述城市生活,更多地透露出对城市的鄙弃。乡土作家刘醒龙用进城者的眼光,察觉融城的艰难。城市生活对人性的压抑与扭曲。陈应松则更多地站在城乡二元对立的立场,用激烈的叙述语言写出城市对乡村的挤压,意图通过逃离城市,来避免城市所带来的伤害。不同的想象方式,成就了多样的武汉文学。独有的码头文化,既成就了武汉文学的独特性,也影响了武汉文学的表达,使武汉文学缺少精神高度的提升,在以后的发展中举步不前。这一负面影响对当代城市文学的发展起到一定的借鉴作用。

Urban Literature is a picture of the urban imagination of literary practice. Wuhan, a central city, its urban literature form a considerable size ,since Chili and Fang Fang’s novels came out. This paper will research the Urban Literature of Wuhan and try to find the reason why it becomes this. Chi Li and Fang Fang's works laid the Wuhan status of the novel in china contemporary literary. The perspective in writing shifted from the grand political narrative to the ordinary life of people. Discard idealism, with extremely realistic way to write people who live in a difficult life, their material deprivation, psychological difficulties and their practical values. Through further analysis of Chili and Fang Fang's novels, realize the most prominent character of Wuhan is toughness. It is formed by the bad conditions that Wuhan lives in, and also affected by the Pier culture. The dialects is aslo another characteristic of writings about Wuhan.After above, this paper will further pointed out the different ways of authors’writing. Chili ignores the contradiction between urban and rural areas, disdains the intellectuals. Although she agrees with people’s choice that compromising to reality, still there is idelism in her novels. Fang Fang sticks to elite narrative and critical .She continue to find the spirit and ideals of the city between the history and reality. Pioneer novelist Zhang Zhi-hao writes with a virtual experience. Description people’s life in the city with imagination. Local writer Liu Xing-long aware the hardship of entering the city ,the depress and distortion of humanity which caused by living in the city. Chen Ying-song stands in urban and rural opposition, writes the extrusion the country suffers from the city .Intend to avoid hurts by escape from the city . Different ways of imagination formed the colorful Literature of Wuhan. Literature of Wuhan does not get more progress, For The effects of pier culture. It is useful for the developing of contemporary urban Literature.
