2016年春节《美人鱼》上映,影片在上映第19天就突破了30亿。周星驰的每一次出现都会收获不俗的票房,偏爱的来由不只是我们现在可以听到的声音,庞大的观众群见仁见智。本文立足于对他电影的一贯矛盾和喜剧手法的探讨,从一些具体的角度来说明他为观众所亲切的由来。他电影中一次次被解决又一次次出现的矛盾正是抽象的强与弱的矛盾,贴近现实中人们对社会,对他人的感受;另一方面,电影的喜剧手法为精神压力下的人们提供了某种自由,帮助人们爽朗地解开对自己的束缚。他始终如一地坚持着他自己的风格,观众对他的信赖与偏爱使他成为华语电影市场最大的IP。

The 《Mermaid》 released at the 2016 Spring Festival, after nineteen days, its box office has broken out 30 billion. It seems like that the Stephen Chow's film absolutely brings a successful box office every time, but it’s not only because of the sound we can hear, in fact, the huge audience’s opinions differ from each other. This paper based on his film's consistent contradictions and comedy practices to explain the reasons why he is accepted by such a huge audience. On the one hand, the contradiction appeared again and again in the movies is the abstraction between the strong and the weak, which is closed to people’s real feeling to the society and the others; on the other hand, the special skills which are essential for making a comedy really relieve people’s stress and help people experience the state of freedom so that they can cheerfully unlock the shackles of their own. Stephen Chow has been consistently insisting on his own style, and the audience’s preference has made him the largest IP in the market of Chinese film.
