近年来,新西兰开设汉语课程的学校不断增多,在汉语教学中如何培养学生的学习兴趣,提高教学质量是十分重要的。游戏教学法能够有效提高学生的学习兴趣,符合新西兰“快乐学习”的教育理念,有利于教学目标的实现。笔者2019在新西兰两所学校任教期间一直使用游戏教学法,教学对象分别是初中生和小学生,如何在两校设计并使用游戏进行汉语教学,以取得良好的教学效果,是值得进一步探讨和研究的问题。笔者通过阅读相关文献,发现以往针对不同年龄段学生,进行差异化游戏教学设计的研究不多。因此,笔者决定对两校汉语课堂中游戏教学的设计与应用情况进行研究与对比分析。

本文共有六个章节。第一部分绪论,介绍了选题缘起、研究意义、研究方法以及对游戏教学法进行概念界定,阐述了游戏教学法的特点、分类和相关理论基础;第二部分是游戏教学法相关文献综述,从三方面梳理了相关的研究成果;第三部分介绍了新西兰及笔者赴任两所学校的汉语教学现状,并从开设课程目的、课程性质、教学资源、师资情况以及教学对象几个方面对两校游戏教学设计相关要素进行对比分析,得出两校各方面的差异,以便更有针对性地设计汉语教学游戏;第四部分在前期调研和对比分析的基础上,围绕七个主题设计两校的汉语游戏教学总体方案;第五部分选取了两校词汇类、语法类、汉字类游戏的典型案例,从案例展示、游戏设计说明、游戏教学效果分析以及游戏改进措施等方面进行详细的描述、对比分析和反思;第六部分是游戏教学效果评估与建议,笔者基于课堂观察、学生问卷调查和访谈的结果以及教师访谈的结果,展开两校游戏教学效果评估与反馈,从自身的教学实践和调查结果出发,对游戏教学法在新西兰中小学汉语课堂中的应用进行反思,从而提出具有针对性和可行性的启示与建议。

本研究以笔者的教学实践为例,对两校汉语游戏教学设计及实施效果进行对比分析,最后给出启示与建议。希望结论为任教于新西兰的汉语教师志愿者与国际中文教育提供国别化的参考资料。

外文摘要:

In recent years, there are more and more schools offering Chinese courses in New Zealand. How to cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese and improve the quality of teaching is very important. Game teaching method in line with New Zealand's educational philosophy of "happy learning" can effectively improve students' interest in learning, which is conducive to the realization of teaching objectives. The author has used game teaching method in two schools in New Zealand in 2019. The teaching objects are junior high school students and primary school students. How to design and use games in Chinese teaching in two schools to achieve good teaching effect is a problem worthy of further discussion and research. Through reading the relevant literature, the author found that there were few researches on differentiated game teaching design for students of different ages. Therefore, the author decided to make a comparative analysis of the design and application of game teaching in Chinese class of the two schools.

There are six chapters in this thesis. The introduction lies in the position of the first part and it introduces the dirivation of the topic, research significance, research methods, as well as the concept definition of game teaching method, describes the characteristics, classification and related theoretical basis of game teaching method; the second part is the literature review related to game teaching method, summarizing the relevant research results from three aspects; the third part introduces the current situation of Chinese teaching in New Zealand and the two schools that the author went to, and compares the relevant elements of game teaching design between the two schools from the aspects of course purpose, course nature, teaching resources, teachers and teaching objects, so as to get the differences between the two schools in various aspects, so as to design Chinese teaching games more pertinently; The fourth part designs the general planning of Chinese teaching with games focusing on seven themes on the basis of preliminary research and comparative analysis; The fifth part demonstrates the typical cases of vocabulary, grammar and characters games of the two schools, and makes a detailed description, comparative analysis and reflection from the aspects of case display, the description of game design, the effect analysis of game teaching and the improvement measures of game; the sixth part is the evaluation and suggestions of game teaching effect. Based on the results of classroom observation, students’ questionnaire survey and interview, teachers’ interview, the author carries out the evaluation and feedback on the game teaching effect of the two schools, and reflects on the application of game teaching method in the Chinese classroom of primary and intermediate schools in New Zealand from teaching practice and survey results, so as to put forward targeted and feasible enlightenment and suggestions.

Taking the author's teaching practice as an example, this research makes a comparative analysis of the design and implementation effect of Chinese game teaching in the two schools, and finally gives enlightenment and suggestions. It is hoped that the conclusion can provide national reference materials for volunteers of Chinese teachers in New Zealand and international Chinese education.
