在现代的市场经济体制下,中国家族企业开始逐步地由家族式管理向职业化管理转变,从企业外引进职业经理人。然而,由于中国的环境特殊,大多数中国家族企业在与职业经理人的合作中并没有取得理想的效果,普遍存在着代理成本过高的问题。而能否解决好代理成本的问题,是影响着家族企业能否顺利地实现职业化管理、实现企业长远发展的关键。目前,中国的职业经理人制度不够成熟、相关法律制度也不够完善、中国低信任度的传统文化等,这些因素都制约着中国家族企业与职业经理人的良好合作,使代理成本居高不下。外部环境一时难以改变,因而,要降低其中的代理成本,中国家族企业需要完善自身的内部制度建设,从监督、激励、契约与文化约束等方面来降低代理成本,加强双方的合作,以获得家族企业的长远发展。

In modern society, China’s family enterprises start to change family management into professional management, by recommending professional managers outside enterprises. However, in the special environment of China, the majority of China’s family enterprises’ cooperation with the professional managers did not have the desired effect; the problem that agency costs are overly high is universal. Whether can a family enterprise change into professional management depends on whether the problem of agency costs can be solved successfully. It affects the family enterprises’ development. In the present, China's system of professional managers is not mature enough; the relevant legal system is not perfect, coupled with low confidence in the traditional culture. These factors restrict the good cooperation between China's family enterprises and professional managers, which makes the agency costs stay high. The external environment can not be changed in a short time, and therefore, to reduce the agency costs, the Chinese family enterprises need to improve their own internal system, from the supervision, incentives, contracts, etc. and cultural constraints, strengthen cooperation between the two sides in order to obtain long-term development of China’s family enterprises.
