神话是一个民族的心灵密码,是极其重要的民间文化资源。二十世纪的“神话回归”风潮点燃了世界各国对神话进行再创作的热情,全球出版项目“重述神话”也应运而生。如何创作神话新编小说是当下必须正面回应的问题。本文旨在通过总结“重述神话·中国卷”四部作品的优势与弊端,提炼出神话新编小说的改编规律,同时结合当代文化的语境,对新编小说可能出现的困境提出警示,以期为今后的神话新编作品提供建设性的参考。

Myths are the deep cultural codes of a nation as well as important literary folk resource. In 20th Century, the "myth regression" trend ignited the enthusiasm of creators all around the world to re-create the myths, and the “Canongate Myth Series”, a global publishing program, was born in this historical moment. In consequence, the techniques and strategies of myth adaptions are quiet worthy of discussing and researching. This thesis aims at providing more suggestions for the future myth retelling works by concluding the advantages and disadvantages from “Canongate Myth Series (Chinese Version)” and pointing out the risks in modern myth adaption from a culture perspective.
