公务员选拔乃国之大事,自古有“得人者昌”,“失贤者亡”, “中兴以人才为本”之说。而儒家思想是我国传统文化的精髓,在我国漫长的官员选拔中儒家思想在其中发挥了重要的作用,探索儒家思想对我国公务员选拔的影响具有十分重要的现实意义。本文试着从公务员选拔的原则和理念入手找到儒家思想与公务员选拔的切合点,通过分析儒家思想对我国古代官员选拔积极影响和负面影响,针对我国公务员选拔理念和制度中存在的问题,进行原则改良和制度创新, 为公务员选拔的公平高效提供一些有益的建议。
外文摘要:
Selecting civil servants is an affair of state and since ancient times, there have been such sayings as “Winning talented people brings prosperity while losing them brings failure” and “Talented people are the basis of China’s bright future”. Confucianism, as the soul of traditional Chinese culture, has been playing an important role in selecting officials in the Chinese history. Therefore, it is quite significant to explore the effects of Confucianism on the selecting of civil servants in China. This thesis attempts to discover the correlation between the principles in selecting civil servants and Confucianism. By analyzing Confucianism’s positive and negative effects in selecting officials in ancient China, the thesis proposed some modifications and innovations for the existing problems of principles and regulations in the current selecting of civil servants, providing beneficial suggestions for improving the fairness and efficiency of selecting civil servants.
