自从中国实行改革开放政策和入世以来, 国际交流对中国来说越来越重要。因此，有世界语言之称的英语，作为沟通世界的桥梁，在中国的地位逐渐上升。在这样一个大环境下，学好英语对全中国的学生来说都是必要的。然而，学生普遍反映学习英语非常枯燥，英语是最不容易学好的一科。听唱英语歌曲既有趣又有助于英语水平的提高。本文从学生的视角出发，通过对大学生对英语歌曲与英语学习的看法的问卷调查，探索分析英文歌曲对英语学习在语音、词汇、语法、修辞、节奏感、语感、学习兴趣与动机和西方历史文化知识方面的作用。

Since the Policy of Reform and Opening-up to the outside world and China’s entering into the WTO, international communication is becoming more and more important for China. Therefore, English, which is called the world language and the bridge of communication to the world, rises up in China. In such a big situation, learning English becomes necessary for students all over China. However, most students find English boring and the most difficult subject to learn well. Listening to and singing English songs is both interesting and useful to improve the students’ English. This paper will explore the specific aspects in which singing English songs can help students learn English well in the view of students under the help of the questionnaire carried out among college students, including English pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, sense of rhythm, language sense, study interest and motivation, and western cultural and historical knowledge.
