中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)在京发布《第32次中国互联网络发展状况统计报告》显示,截至2013年6月底,我国网民规模达5.91亿。随着网络的发展,婚恋交友网站也逐步蓬勃壮大起来,国内知名婚恋网站世纪佳缘已拥有会员1亿人(iResearch,2014)。如今婚恋网的普及已不仅仅是传统恋爱的网络延伸,更改变了人们的生活方式,潜移默化的影响了人们的婚恋观,开启了一个新的婚恋交往时代。本研究通过网络招募选取371名成人为被试进行问卷调查,探讨婚恋网交友、人格、婚恋观与择偶行为的关系,得到以下研究结果:(1)婚恋网的使用已经较为普遍,职位中高层、月收入大于6000元的人比职位一般、月收入小于6000元的人有更高的婚恋网使用率;职位较高、收入较高、且来自城市的人婚恋网交友的成功率显著高于职位一般、收入一般、来自县城或农村的人。职位较高的人对婚恋网有着更高的评价。年龄较大、职位较高、收入较高、且来自城市或县城的人恋爱次数显著多于年龄较小、职位一般、收入一般、来自农村的人。(2)在人格方面,研究发现,年龄大于28岁的人在神经质上得分显著低于28岁以下的人;学历本科及以上的人神经质显著低于专科及以下的人,而开放性和顺应性显著高于专科及以下的人。职位较高的人与职位一般的人相比,其神经质较低而严谨性较高。来自城市的人在神经质上显著低于来自农村的人,而外向性、开放性及严谨性则显著高于来自农村的人。来自县城的人仅在外向性上显著高于来自农村的人,其它人格维度都没有显著的差异。在婚恋观方面,男性、职位较高、收入较高的人比女性、职位较低、收入较低的人表现得更加开放。(3)使用婚恋网的人在神经质维度上得分较低,而外向性、严谨性均显著高于未使用过婚恋网的人,其婚姻角色观更传统,婚姻倾向更强烈,对婚恋网的评价及恋爱次数都显著高于未使用过婚恋网的人。非单身在外向性及婚姻倾向、对婚恋网的评价及恋爱次数上都显著高于单身。在婚恋网上交友成功过的人与未成功过的人相比,当前伴侣是婚恋网上认识的人与非婚恋网认识的人相比,前者都更加严谨,对婚恋网的评价更好,有过更多的恋爱次数。(4)婚恋网的使用与神经质显著负相关、与外向性、开放性、严谨性显著正相关,与角色观和婚姻倾向显著正相关,同时与对婚恋网的评价也显著正相关。恋爱次数与神经质负相关,外向性正相关,与性爱抉择观、婚姻倾向、忠诚观负相关,并且与婚恋网评价及婚恋网使用正相关。(5)人格对择偶行为有直接的预测作用,同时,人格可以通过婚恋网的使用和婚恋观间接地预测个体的恋爱次数,婚恋网的使用和婚恋观在其中起到显著的部分中介作用。

By the end of June in 2013, internet users in China had reached to 591 million as released by China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) in its study entitled The 32nd China Internet Development Statistics Report. With this rapid expansion of internet users, online dating platforms have been experienced explosive growth. Jiayuan.com, the largest online dating platform, has attracted registered user accounts of more than 100 million (iResearch, 2014). The popularity of online dating platform is not only an extension of the traditional social network for matching and dating, it has changed people’s daily lives. It changed our values of love and marriage, which is leading in the end to a new era of love and marriage through internet.This study is based on a questionnaire survey of 371 adults. It tries to explore the mate selection behavior with regard to online dating, personality trait, and the values of love and marriage. Online dating is already mediocrely popular. There are more users of people of middle and high career positions with monthly income of more than 6000 CNY per month than those of monthly income within 6000 CNY with starting and lower positions. The rate of successful dating is higher among users from urban areas with higher career positions and higher income than users from rural areas of lower positions and lower income. Users of higher positions also tend to give higher rating of online dating platforms. Remarkably more love affairs are noticed of people living in the city and town of relatively older age, higher position and higher income, than people from rural areas with relatively younger age, lower position and lower income.About personality trait. The study revealed that people older than 28 years scored significantly lower on neuroticism than people within 28 years; people of colleague or higher education also scored significantly lower on neuroticism, and flexibility and compliance were greater with the former group. People in higher positions also scored lower on neuroticism score and were more disciplined. People from the city scored also significantly lower on neuroticism than people from rural areas, and higher on extraversion, flexibility and discipline. People from the county and town only scored higher on extraversion than people from rural areas, bearing no significant difference on other personality dimensions.With regard to love and marriage, the male people of relatively higher positions and higher-income were more flexible than female people of lower positions and lower income.Compared with non-users, users of online dating platforms scored lower on neuroticism, while their extraversion and discipline were higher. And the users were more traditional on their role in marriage, more marriage –oriented in dating. They would tend to give higher rating about online dating platform, and experienced more dating. As compared with singletons, people in pairs were higher in the magnitude of extraversion, marriage orientation, ratings about online dating platforms, and the times that they had been in love. As compared with their opposite counterpart, people that succeeded in their relationship through online dating platform and the people whose partners are connected on dating platform were more disciplined. They rated higher about online dating platform and experienced more times in a love relationship.Significantly negative correlation with neuroticism were seen with the increase of usage of online dating services, while it was more positively correlated with extraversion, flexibility, self-discipline, the role in marriage, orientation towards marriage in dating, and the rating about on line dating platforms. The times in love were negatively correlated with neuroticism, sex values, marriage orientation, values of loyalty, while they were positively correlated with extraversion, rating on and usage of online dating services.Personality trait can be used directly to predict mate selection behavior, and indirectly predict the times in love of an individual through the online dating platform and their values of love and marriage. In both of the aforementioned aspects, the usage of online dating platforms and the values of love and marriage will play a significant intermediary role.
