在全球一体化发展的趋势下，国际间的教育合作越来越频繁，竞争也越来越激烈，奥林匹克竞赛更是成为了体现各国教育水平的最佳平台。伴随着各学科奥林匹克竞赛项目的举办和发展，奥林匹克竞赛也展现出了其对中学阶段各学科教育的重要意义，逐渐成为国际中学教育的指向标。不同于其它学科的奥赛项目，地理学科奥林匹克竞赛截止目前共举办了13届，整个竞赛项目尚处在发展成熟的关键阶段，这为我国地理学科改革提供了发展方向与机遇。地理奥赛试题对学生的知识能力和情感态度的检测符合素质教育理念，有助于加强学生兴趣、培养高素质的学生，有利于加快我国地理学科课程改革的进度。 本文以地理奥赛野外考察题为基础，通过分析地理奥赛野外考察题内容，探究其对学生的能力要求，进而确定对教师一般性能力、科研能力以及自建构能力提升的要求。对甘肃省地理教师野外实践教学能力提升提出建议，并针对甘肃省地理教师培训，就培训内容和培训方式方给出了合理的建议。

Different from other disciplines, the International Geography Olympic competition has been held for 13 times, and the competition is still in the key stage of development. It has provided the development direction and the opportunity for our country geography discipline reform, and it's helpful to strengthen students' interest and cultivate high quality students, and to promote the reform of Geography Curriculum in China. This paper is based on the field survey to explore the ability of students and teachers by exploring the ability of field investigation to students. And it puts forward some suggestions on the improvement of the field practice teaching ability and the training contents and training methods of geography teachers in Gansu Province.
