With the increase of social attention to early education, education competition is also increasingly fierce, parents' anxiety about their children's education began to spread gradually. Focusing on parents in urban primary schools, this study analyzed the status quo of education anxiety of senior parents in W primary school in Beijing through questionnaire survey, found and analyzed the related factors affecting education anxiety, and finally put forward countermeasures and suggestions. This study is based on the survey data of parents of senior students in W Primary School in Beijing, using the survey research method, with the help of the "Questionnaire Star" network platform, to investigate the situation of parents' educational anxiety of 225 students in fifth and sixth grades in W Primary School. A total of 217 questionnaires were collected, of which 198 were valid. SPSS software was used for statistical analysis. The research specifically examined the status quo of parents' educational anxiety, which was mainly reflected in their children's academic performance, learning attitude and parent-child interaction. At the same time, the influencing factors of educational anxiety are analyzed. The survey and analysis data in this study show that nearly 68% of parents have more or less different degrees of anxiety symptoms. Twenty-one percent of parents even experienced severe anxiety. Specifically, parents have a high degree of anxiety about their children's academic attitude, followed by anxiety about their children's academic performance, and a low degree of anxiety about the parent-child relationship, which is relatively harmonious. Fathers are more anxious about parent-child interaction than mothers. The less educated the parents were, the more anxious they felt; Parents with higher expectations for their children's academic performance had higher levels of anxiety about their children's overall and academic performance, while parents with the lowest expectations for academic performance had the most anxiety about their children's learning attitude. The lower the child's academic achievement, the more anxious the parents were in terms of their general attitude towards learning and parent-child interaction. Parents who spent more time helping their children with schoolwork and daily life also reported higher levels of overall anxiety. Parents' expectation of their children's grades, expectations of academic qualifications, and time investment in tutoring children's homework are significantly correlated with parents' overall anxiety. Parents' educational level, parents' age and children's academic achievement are negatively correlated with parents' overall anxiety. Parents' educational anxiety is a relatively common phenomenon, and the school level should establish a home-school cooperation platform to alleviate parents' anxiety. High anxiety parents, to a large extent, because of their own limited conditions, do not grasp the correct education methods, education concept and participation in school education awareness of deviation. At the teacher level, we should strive to establish an individualized interaction mechanism between class teachers and parents in the home-school cooperation platform, improve the system framework of class management, and truly practice the education community under the co-construction of family and school. Family education is the foundation of children's growth. Parents should give children proper guidance through active actions. Fathers are more involved in education to form a good parent-child relationship, which has a positive impact on the formation of children's concept of three, cognitive development and other aspects. Through the coordination of home and school, parents' educational anxiety can be effectively alleviated. |
