在当今数字化时代,全球在线语言教育市场持续发展。语言教学博主是指在社交媒体上分享语言学习内容的网络博主,其通过分享内容吸引更多关注并获得经济效益。随着在线教育的日益发展,探究语言教学博主如何在中国社交媒体上构建其独特身份具有重要意义。 
本文基于Tracy(2002)的身份构建理论,探讨三位哔哩哔哩语言教学博主的身份构建。通过分析三位语言教学博主发布的30个视频,本研究考察了其身份认同以及用于身份构建的多模态资源。
研究发现,这三位语言教学博主构建了三种在线身份:专业但不完美的英语教师、亲密的同伴以及企业家。这三种身份相互交织,呈现出在线身份构建的复杂、动态的特征。通过运用各种多模态资源,语言教学博主们超越语言和模态的界限,融合了母语、英语以及视觉资源等,以此加强观众的理解并构建自身独特的形象。
本研究通过分析网络视频,揭示了哔哩哔哩语言教学博主们灵活运用多模态资源构建其多维的身份,从而实现教学及自我宣传的双重目的。本研究有助于深入理解中国社交媒体上语言教学博主的身份构建及策略,并为研究网络教师身份构建和在线语言教学提供了新的启示。

外文摘要:

Amidst the era of digitalisation, the global online language education market is expanding rapidly. Language teaching micro-celebrities are individuals who share language teaching content on social media to draw attention from numerous audiences and capitalise such attention into economic benefits. As their popularity grows, it becomes increasingly important to examine how these language teaching micro-celebrities shape their unique identities in the Chinese context. 
This study focuses on the identity construction of three language teaching micro-celebrities on Bilibili based on Tracy’s (2002) framework on identity. The research uses the qualitative method to examine 30 videos uploaded by the three micro-celebrities and explore their identities and multimodal resources for identity construction. 
The results show that the three language teaching micro-celebrities strategically construct multifaceted and hybrid identities. These identities include successful but imperfect language teacher, intimate peer, and entrepreneurial self. Through the utilisation of available multimodal resources, the micro-celebrities transcend languages and modes, blending native language, English and visual resources to facilitate viewers’ understanding and construct their distinctive images. 
This research highlights language teaching micro-celebrities’ fluid and flexible use of multimodal resources to achieve pedagogical and promotional functions. This study contributes to a better understanding of the complex interplay of online language teaching and micro-celebrity persona in Chinese social media.
