随着全球化进程的不断加快,各国对企业社会责任认识不断增强,是否或者如何履行企业社会责任也成为了一种新的竞争点和衡量企业是否具备实力的隐形指标。INTO教育集团是总部位于英国的高等教育行业合伙制企业,其主要任务是帮助高等院校创造丰富多样的教学环境,帮助学生获得高等教育的机会。该集团承担了一些对于利益相关者的责任,但无论从管理还是实践的角度看,INTO教育集团的企业社会责任仍有很多亟待解决的问题。

本文首先介绍企业社会责任的概念和理论基础并对相关文献进行综述;接着介绍INTO教育集团履行企业社会责任的现状;然后结合访谈分析了INTO教育集团在承担企业社会责任方面的问题及问题存在的原因;最后提出了相应的改进建议。

 研究表明,INTO教育集团作为一家成立即带有承担社会责任属性的企业,其业务内容形式单一,在针对合作伙伴、员工、学生、社会和政府等利益相关者方面承担的社会责任也取得了不少成绩。但同时,INTO教育集团在企业社会责任方面也存在着缺少战略规划和组织管理、企业社会责任的实践有待完善、缺少科学有效的企业社会责任评估和反馈机制等方面的问题。通过对于问题存在的外部和内部原因分析,本文提出了改进建议:第一,完善社会责任战略管理和日常管理,明确企业社会责任战略规划,设置专业化的日常管理团队,加强社会责任文化建设并定期开展调查问卷。第二,在现有的企业社会责任实践基础上,增加对于自然环境、媒体、员工和政府等方面的社会责任实践力度。第三,发布企业社会责任年度报告。在探索中不断总结经验,提升INTO教育集团企业社会责任实践水平、扩大企业社会责任影响和效果,争取为企业带来更多维度的回报。

外文摘要:

Today, corporations have risen their awareness of corporate social responsibility with the pace of globalization. Whether or not performing corporate social responsibility has become a new competition and an invisible index of a corporate’s capacity. Headquartered in Britain, INTO University Partnerships’ main task is to help universities and colleges create diverse academic environment and help students gain the chance to be educated at high-level institutions. It shoulders its responsibilities on its stakeholders. But it still has problems to be fixed no matter from the perspective of management or of practice.

This article proposes CSR definition and its contents, lays stress on four famous CSR theories and models, such as Carroll Pyramid, Stakeholders Theory, Triple Bottom Line and Civil Society, looks back on development process of CSR. Then, it chooses INTO University Partnerships as a featured corporate to conduct a study on its CSR, raises questions and analyzes its reason based on interviews, proposes suggestions accordingly at the end. 

It shows that as holding its responsible feature at the first beginning, INTO University Partnership performances its CSR on stakeholders including its partner universities, staff, students, society and government on the basis of its business. At the same time, it is hard to ignore that it lacks of CSR strategic planning and management, lacks of CSR reviews and feedbacks. Through internal and external analysis, we suggest that 1) it is needed to enhance CSR planning and daily management, to foster CSR corporate culture, to evaluate CSR and give feedbacks. 2) it is needed to improve its CSR practice on staff, government and environment on the basis of its up-to-date CSR practices. 3) it is needed to issue its annual CSR report to help stakeholders better understand its CSR practice and enrich influence, bringing more benefits from diverse levels.
